That way you described about speeding up the circulation of energy sounds interesting. I'm guessing such a thing only works for a brief amount of time before you become tired though. Well, I guess in your case you wouldn't become tired considering you can't sleep." Matt said.
<I believe that us sentient beings tend to act more by our emotions then by how logic would tell us to act. When we are angry, we tend to desire revenge above all else even though revenge may not be the best course of actions at a particular time. Trust me, some people will sacrifice everything just to see another suffer.>

"For a human it could possibly be very taxing and possibly have disasterous side effects. It would be interesting to study the effect on other beings yet I do not want to out them at risk just to further my own research. That is one thing I will not do for the sake of knowledge." said Rhen. "But if you do wish to learn it I can attempt to teach it to you next we are on Elune. But as I said, I do not kow how it will effect you since in many ways, humans are more complicated than my race. The choice is yours Matt. But I do agree on one thing. I wouldn't mind looking around the citadel a bit. The construction of it sounds interesting to me."
"By the way Forlirn.......dose the citadel have a libary of sorts or someplace where your clan housed knowledge they learned? If so then I would gladly like to see it." said Rhen as he followed.
~I do no mean to disrespect the dead, especially Forlirn's clan, but if there happen to be any remains of the scales from the ones who died here I wouldn't mind studying them. Maybe take a few samples and a few other things to help to winterize my false arm and wings. Who knows, with them covered with the scales of these northern dragons, I might be able to make use of them up here in the north and in the ruins without them freezing up. Well as close as I can get to keep it from freezing.~ thought Rhen.

"I wouldn't go as far as to call my self a 'master of magic'." said Rhen laughing. "But I am honored that you think of me as that. If you are willing to learn then I will teach you. But remember what I said. I do not know if there will be any side effects on you. And if there are I do not know how they will effect you. But since you wish to learn by your own accord, I will teach you. But know for you it will not be easy for you. Although you may have the will to learn, you must have fortitude in your will to push yourself to your limit without backing down."

"Don't be so modest Rhen. From what you have told me, you sound like you are quite skilled in the art of magic. But anyway, I am quite willing to try to learn these magics even though there may be risks involved. After all, sometimes you need to take great risks in order to better yourself. I'm well aware that learning magic is very difficult, especially for someone who has lived in a world where magic is impossible for most of his life. I'm willing to push myself as far as I need to in order to learn magic. I just hope you will have the patience to deal with me while i'm trying to learn. I expect it won't be a quick process." Matt said.

"You know who you sounded like just then?" asked Rhen laughing. "You sounded like me when I was younger. But you are right. Sometimes you have to take risks to better yourself. It will be a long process for you since you are acustomed to Nueva and the use of technology. But as I have proved, the knowledge from both worlds can come together. And you are willing.....that is good. Perhaps we bth might learn something as I teach you. I also might learn some things if there is a libary or archive of sorts inside the citadel here in the caves. I will say one thing though Matt. There is only a few things I will not teach you. It is for your own safety and that one thing is the void. You have seen what it has done to me and even I do not fully understand the working of the void. So that is one area of magic we will stay away from."

"No kidding! You were quite ambitious back in the day then eh? I suppose you are right when you say that it is possible to be accomplished in both worlds. I mean, both you and Forlirn have changed worlds and managed to pick up on the ways of both worlds. So I suppose I could become talanted in magic, just remember to be patient with me. I doubt that you will learn anything from this besides how to have nearly limitless patience. I have no problem with not learning void magic though. I may be willing to take risks, but I doubt learning void magic outweighs the risk of having a strange growth cover my arm. Anyway, thank you very much for doing this. I am in your debt." Matt said.

"You have not debt to me. For knowledge is ment to be shared now kept to one person or kept stored away. You owe me nothing Matt. I will teach you because it is the right thing. That and you are going to need more than one way to defend yourself on Elune since your percious guns do not work there aside from being clubs." said Rhen, his last statement a bit of a joke.

"Well then I thank you Rhen. Most people would demand some sort of conpensation for teaching magic. You are a very good person to be willing to do this out of the kindness of your heart. I don't know how you still manage to be so nice considering all that you have been through. But you are right that I need more ways to defend myself on Elune. I do have a sword but honestly the most I could do in a magic battle right now is cheer you on and hope you win. I'm a burden right now in Elune." Matt said.

And like I said, knowledge is supposed to be free and shared. People who charge monetary substance to aquire knowledge are doing it only to fuel their greed rather than to help people which it what should be done with knowledge." said Rhen. "I know how you feel being a burden as here on Nueva I am a burden to you and the others. I can weild a sword true but a sword does little when your enemy has a gun. I have studied your weapons once before. I found them interesting for a time but prefered to stick to my own means of defence. Besides, I also picked up a bit of what you humans call, martial arts. I am not that great at it but through study I have learned much about it and have become better. But not to a master level like some of the other people I have seen do it. Besides, I am more of a burden in both worlds than you are Matt. You have all your limbs and do not have to rely upon bulky machines to act as a missing part of a whole. Although my mechanical replacements work well, they will never be as efficient as my original arm and wings as no machine is 100% efficient."
