Fixszorx looks at himself for a moment, having listened to the other and began to take it into consideration, spreading his massive wings and beginning to flap, taking off easily "Well, I suppose there is no point in surrounding myself in constant plight and bickering. I will be happy to accompany you." he says, slowly ascending and waiting for Frilarth. "Where you go, I shall go, for your kindness I shall be your guardian until you see it fit that I begone."he states, feeling slightly relieved to at least have some minor sense of purpose now, though still limited.

<I can certainly understand that. I would not want intruders entering my hometown and discovering things that could destroy us. I doubt though that many of the people who want to see your capital have hostile intentions. Many would probably just like to see your capital for the sake of seeing it. It would probably improve outside relations if you let them in.>
Matt rolled his eyes but did not say anything to Forlirn.
<I'm actually looking forward to it. I've got enough protective clothing to remain fairly warm, even this far north. I think it will be interesting to see how you react though. Dragons are cold-blooded are they not? You'll be sticking close to any source of heat you can find.>

"Well, welcome to the group, then," Frilarth said happily, taking to the air and starting to head after Forlirn and Caelidorus. "We're only going to be in the north for a short while, cause we're just heading there to investigate the ruins... are you okay in the cold? It's really snowy there and there are usually a lot of blizzards..."
<Perhaps... but I'm not quite sure we're ready to make that sort of change. The capital has been off-limits for centuries... maybe even millennia, though I can't say for certain as I don't really know how long we've been around. It would probably be best to get into a state of peace before considering to make that sort of move.>
Forlirn did not reply, evidently not planning on continuing the argument. Rather, he continued focusing on heading forward.
<Eh? Why on Elune would you think I'm cold blooded? The blood from my wounds is quite warm, not cold.>

Fixszorx would chuckle at his words, doing his best to keep up with the others. He still had plenty of energy left, but the curiosity was getting to him. "I can survive the burning pits of magma, and I think I can survive cold weather - at most it may topple me over when I am off balance, in which case the most you will ever have to do is flip me over." he says, unable to help but recount the amount of times he would have had such a problem when he was younger. His eyes focused on the two ahead, in particular Caelidorus. He had not yet spoken to him, but he seemed quite jumpy from what he saw, though he was not one to comment at the moment. He felt the urge to climb to a high height and tuck his wings back, simply speeding down to their destination, though knowing very well that that may end up breaking every bone in his body or at the very least - knocking the wind out of him. He reconsidered.

Rhen sighed and pulled his coat and cloak tighter around himself. As the group traveld it seemed to get colder and colder.
"How is it your kind is so adapted to the cold Forlirn?" asked Rhen.
~If it is something simple then I might be able to apply it to my designs.......and keep myself from freezing as well.~ thought Rhen.

<Of course. I'm not sure how easy making peace with all of your enemies will be, but it will probably be worth it. And by the way, I wasn't suggest letting everyone who wants to see your capital into it. I just mean letting more then a few dragons in for only a week. If you ask me, that's being a bit too cautious.>
<You aren't cold blooded? I thought you were, considering you are a reptile and all reptiles are cold blooded. I'm not science minded though, so I may very well be wrong.>
"Can one of you hand me one of the coats that we got back at the city? I'm starting to get cold." Matt asked.

"Well, you should be alright then!" Frilarth exclaimed with a bit of joy. "Which is very good, since we only bought supplies for those already with us. I guess we didn't think we'd pick up somebody else along the way, which we probably should have. But since you're okay, it's not a problem, although you'll probably have a bit of trouble in the ruins, since you probably haven't run into the aura of the True Ones before."
"Our proteins are fashioned to retain functional shapes at the coldest of temperatures, allowing us to survive and giving our bodies no reason to feel discomfort in extreme cold," Forlirn replied. "However, they tend to denature at temperatures lower than most proteins denature at, which is why we have a natural aversion to heat."
<Well, we originally let no outsiders into the capital in the first place. Although it would seem to have been in place long enough for humans to think it a well established tradition, it is still somewhat new on our terms. But I suppose it may change...>
<That doesn't even make sense. Every reptile I've seen bleeds warm blood, even Forlirn. And if a dragon that is made to live in frozen wastes doesn't have cold blood, I don't think anything would.>
Frilarth flew near Caelidorus, handing Matthew a coat in midair.
"Here you go."
((I'm going to be very busy for the next few days, so I may not post as often.))

"Interesting. I wonder if I can find a way to do the same using chemicals. Maybe then I can solve my mechnic's freezing problems. But as before I need the resourses to do tests. I will find time for it eventually. As of now my focus is on helping you with your goals." said Rhen.

<Well I feel that it should. I can understand why you would want to keep outsiders out of your city, but I think that letting more people into the capital could only help you.>
<Like I said, i'm hardly a scientist. Doesn't being cold-blooded mean you can't produce your own heat? That's why I thought going up north would be a problem. Maybe i'm wrong though.>
"Thanks Frilarth." Matt said. He slipped the coat over his shirt. "There, that feels a lot better."
