Spot on, of course.

Oh yes, Cantona knew exactly what he was saying and the effect it would have. You're quite right…if LaBeouf's intentions are to "retire from public" (or something along those lines) then he's certainly having quite the opposite effect. Though the poem has an anti-press overtone I certainly don't dispute the fact that celebrities' behaviour seems to get weirder and weirder every year. I've never been one to engage too much with 'celebrity culture' at any rate.

this poem is inspired by a die antwoord song, as well as a very paifull break up i just had 4 days ago


to spend a day, if for a brief moment
the hours float, they float away
a fading laughter, ever so meant

the day we met, a frozen singularity
leading towards that beautiful question
on my knees, will you marry me

reckless abandon, causing concern
love too pure, could barely discern
anxiety building priorities demanding
the notice comes, left barely standing

unexpected news, this painfull dart
my question? how can an angel break my heart.
