Marcello realized something fearful was approaching him, so he - as fast as lighting - grabbed his Saradomin Sword that was to the right of him and prepared a guard to the left. And just suddenly, Abaddon appeared out of nowhere and was right there Marcello blocked. But the demon was able to fully block the attack.

Abaddon wasn't attacking with his scythe, but with a black long wave blade that came out from his right forearm. Marcello grit his teeth in frustration. "Why aren't you dead!?" he yelled. The Angel of Death didn't respond with words, but with an extremely evil laugh that you could say would come from the Devil.

His laugh echoed, cutting across each corner and returning back into Marcello's ears. Abaddon's eyes were different, they weren't entirely pitch black. You were able to see the true color of his eyes. They were blood red but became white in the center of his irises. And his pupil was pitch black, tall but thick, like a lizard's eyes.

A wicked smile, which touches to tips of Abaddon's cheeks, reveals sharp, almost vampire like, canine teeth. A small blade suddenly springs out from under the skin of Abaddon's left palm and he pushes below towards Marcello's stomach. Not expecting it, Marcello feels an incredible pain pierce him. His right eye closes tight while his left remains open.

With his eyes widely open and a twisted smile on his face, Abaddon tilts his head to the left to look at Marcello in a very disturbing way. Marcello's left eye slowly shifted to Abaddon's face. Abaddon quickly pulls out his blade from Marcello's stomach and the silver haired demon drops to his knees, clenching onto his wound as the blood bolted out.

His face and body faced the ground, his right hand keeping him up. Abaddon continued to look down upon Marcello, continuing to tilt his head right and then left again. He didn't have a smile on his face, he seemed more curious than anything. The blade that came from his palm recoil back under his skin.

And the hole left in his hand dropped of blood, but then it was like a needle stitching a hole on a blanket, the skin just stitched it's self back together. Abaddon squatted down in front of the wounded warrior. Both of his forearms pressed against his knees like he was imitating a chicken. "Pain?.." he murmured, his voice lapped of uncertainty.

Marcello moved his head up so he could look at Abaddon. "Wha-" he said, but Abaddon - as faster a viper - latched onto Marcello's throat. And as Abaddon stood to his feet, Marcello, against his will, is pulled up along with him. The angel stood on his two feet and Marcello was off his own. He was on his knees, looking up upon the standing Abaddon who had hold of his airway.

With one hand, Marcello tried reaching down for his Saradomin Sword, but he was just too far. His eyes dead focused on his holy blade, but did not hold into his hand. Abaddon raised his left hand into the air, bending his elbow to the level of his ear, and an diabolic smile brushed across his face.

And like a missile, Abaddon's left hand launched, hasting towards Marcello's face. Once, twice, three times. As the frenzy of blows had begun to inflict, a evil but amused outburst of laughter erupted out from Abaddon. Marcello was powerless, his entire body just rattled like a chain.

His face began to spawn cuts, cuts that oozed of blood. Marcello's arms were not his own, they just did not want to move to defend himself. Another punch ripped across Marcello's skin and bone. And another punch made Marcello's forehead bust open, blood ran free like a track racer.

Marcello began to think to himself, he just could not stand another fist. But then another came, and it hurt ten times worse than the last. His arms dangled down lifeless, but his hands would clench like a claw, frozen and shaking, every time a punch came down upon his face.

As the violent assault continued, Marcello's mind had begun to wander. All the noise around him went deaf. All the pain that burdened him went numb. He thought of his brother, and wondered one thing. "What would you do, brother?" he asked himself. But then he would hear a faint whisper responding to him, silently the word "fight" entered into Marcello's ear.

This whisper sounded just like him, just like Ba'al. Marcello watched as Abaddon raised his fist next to his cheeks and readied for another attack. Suddenly the pain of all the fist rushed back into feeling on his skin, and the sound of Abaddon's uncontrolled devilish laughter returned. The fist came down upon Marcello, closer and closer like a torpedo.

Marcello quickly threw his hand, like a slap, at Abaddon's incoming hand to deflect it. And surely, it does. Abaddon's hand flies back, and Abaddon's teeth grit in anger and his grip on Marcello's throat tightened to deathly pressure. Marcello knew he only a matter of seconds before he died, so quickly he threw his fist up at the back of Abaddon's elbow.

When Marcello's fist made contact with Abaddon's elbow, it bent unnaturally. It bent like a bow, and all you hear were cracks of broken bones. But even this didn't stop Abaddon, the pressure may have gone down, but he was still holding onto Marcello's throat. The demon quickly shot to his feet and readied his right leg.

With one heavy bolt of energy, Marcello launched his leg straight at Abaddon's chest. Just before his leg made contact with Abaddon's chest, the angel disappeared. When Marcello's leg was up where it was suppose to hit Abaddon, he saw that the angel wasn't there. Marcello wasn't surprised at all about this.

Abaddon appeared about ten feet of where he was once standing. Marcello's leg drops back down right beside his other. The demon drops to his knees and grabs onto the handle of his Saradomin Sword. He stood back onto his feet and readied himself.

Abaddon returned to laughing like the evil monster that he was. His voice echoing to all corners of the room, but on the outside Marcello didn't seem the least bit fearful, but on the inside the chill of fear and doubt ran down his body like a ram. The monster grabbed onto the very arm, the right arm, that Marcello broke and began pulling it.

It was like fireworks of snaps bursting into the air. Marcello's eyes began to widen. And then suddenly, Abaddon's right arm began to open up until finally the entire shoulder became unattached with his entire arm. Marcello's eyes widened even further.

Blood began to drip out of the open wounds on Abaddon's right arm. It was like Abaddon didn't even sense pain, and then, his entire right arm becomes severed. Blood poured out like the heaviest rain. Marcello steps back, holding onto his mouth. His eyes bigger than that of an owl's. His lost arm drops into the puddle of his own blood and bounces like a fish.

But Abaddon kept on laughing, it was like he was numb to the pain. But then those black veins used by him a lot bursts out from the open wound of where his once limb was. These vein-like-roots began wrapping around each other like a twisted tree until it formed an arm, a wrist, and a hand. His new right arm was pitch black.

"What..the hell," said Marcello in his head, taking another step back in utter fear and disgust. "What the hell are you!?"

The once right arm that laid in the pool of blood, twitching and lifeless, disintegrates into dust. But it left behind a long handle of an axe but no blades. Abaddon knelled down and grabbed the handle and stood back onto his feet. When in the hands of Abaddon, two curved blades formed on both sides of the axe handle.

The blade was shaped like it had four blade, two blades on each side. The blade on top of the other bade was curved upward, while the other blade was curved downward. The handle of the axe was like roots were spun from top to bottom. The entire axe was black, the same color as his new arm.

Marcello readied himself again just before the fear truly got to him. "Stay focused," he said to himself. "Otherwise, you'll die."

Janak and Sarah began to fight off the shadows that bloomed endlessly from the Orb of Darkness. As they cleave through each shadow continuously, Janak realized that the enemy could not die. Janak raced with haste over to Sarah to inform her of this finding.

He ran over to her as his heart beats along with the waltz of his footsteps. He grasped his arm tightly like he was holding onto the rope of life. "Come unto me, indignation of the gods. Empty your powers and let your servant become your righteous hand." he began to chant. "Darkness will be dispelled, evil will be no more. The immoral iniquity will be destroyed after your final breath!" he yelled.

With a growl and a hiss, his right arm quivered. It quickly changed to the color aqua blue. Electricity danced on his arm like a masquerade party. With a gentle smirk on Janak's face, he thrusts his right arm into one of the shadows. His hand impales the chest of the shadow but it doesn't disappear.

A growl roared from the shadow for some reason. A full grown smile washed upon Janak's face as his neck length silver hair blew in-front of his face. "What's the matter? Can't disappear?" he asked, confidence lapped his voice. And with a wave, an explosion of energy and electricity blasts across the area.

Bodies of shadows fly into the area and hit the ground in silence. A path to Sarah was cleared, and Janak returned to his haste over to her. He arrived right by her side, but their backs slowly became against the rock wall. He looks over to Sarah as this happened.

"Sarah," he muttered to her. "It doesn't matter where you attack them, they just recover themselves."

She looks at him, confused. "Huh? What do you mean?" she replied.

"They don't die!"

"Hahaha!" laughed a shadow, it's voice deep and sounded like if one would talk underwater. "We are infinite!"

"Now, now." said a familiar voice. The door into the room was open, a bright light bled into the room. "You ain't gonna kill him without me, are ya?"

Janak glares over to the door, almost positive of who it was that just spoke. "That voice.." he mumbled.

The shadows didn't move, in fact they all dropped to their knees and started saying: "Lord Lakos has arrived." Janak let out a sigh in frustration, and looked over to the door. The werewolf stared at the two with a smirk cross his face. And in his hand laid the Orb of Darkness.

"Well, that's the type of entrance I like," he said, walking closer to the two. "Ya see, I got this orb from Abaddon, and he knew somethin' I wanted nothin' more."

Janak stared at Lakos stare in the eyes. "To kill me, right?" he replied.

"That's right, and that's what I'm here for, bub."

"So, if you were got the choice of being able to kill me, would you hurt Sarah in the process?"

Sarah glared up at Janak. "What are you saying," she loudly whispered. "Are you going to trade your life for mine?!" Janak's eyelids came down about halfway, making his irises appear like half moons. He looked upon Sarah, who had a look of mixed feelings on her face. A gentle smile brushed across his face with a paint brush.

Lakos raised an eyebrow. "Is that a deal I hear?" he questioned, looking primarily upon Janak. "Fine, I'll spare her if I can kill ya."

Janak shook his head up and down, agreeing with Lakos. Sarah looked at Janak and he began walking closer to the werewolf. "Janak!" she yelled. "Janak!!"

"Sorry babe," said the werewolf, drawing his daggers. "But this guy has damage my assets to the point where I just can't leave 'im alone." Janak's right arm stops glowing as he walked closer to Lakos. Sarah tried running towards him but the shadows stood to their feet and shielded her way.

She tightly grabbed the Dragon Scimitar in her hand and swings it at the mid abdominal of the shadows, cutting them in half and dropping to the floor. She jumped over them and raced in haste over to Janak. "Janak!" she repeated herself, running towards him. "Janak!!"

Lakos points toward Sarah. "Control her." he commanded. Many of the shadows stood their feet, disappeared, and re appeared right in front of Sarah. With one swing, she would quick cut through the shadows. But then her legs froze in place, they were not her own. She looked forward and saw Janak's right arm was purple, and his hand was pointing towards her.

"But why..?" she asked, her hands quivering and a betrayed look of sorrow and disbelief cloaked her face. "Why are you leaving me again, Janak?.."

Janak placed his hand by his side and his head hung low. "Because," he murmured. "I shouldn't be alive."

Sarah's shaking hands clenched together into a locked fist. "Yes you should!" she yelped. "The world needs you! I need you!!"

"That's not the point, Sarah," he replied, his voice full of certainty, but just below it was doubt and fear. You could hear the doubt and fear rattle under all the certainty. "I died already. I died protecting the one I love, you. And to this point, I'm just a ghost."

But then suddenly, a flaming explosion blew across the room. Bodies of shadow hit the ground and stood there. Lakos grit his teeth as glanced upon the door into here. A silhouette of a man appeared from the light of the entrance into the temple. "You're kidding, right?" said the familiar voice. "You're just going to die, just like that?"

Sarah and Janak knew who it was at the door. "Visdin!" she yelled.

Visdin paced over to Janak, his rapier gripped tight in his hand. When Visdin was close enough to Janak, a gulp of saliva went down Janak's throat. Visdin clenched his right hand, his metal hand, into a fist. He launched it straight at Janak's gut faster than a missile. On impact, Janak tightly closed his eyes and grit his teeth in silence.

Visdin glared down upon Janak. "Don't you EVER forsake Sarah again," he yelled right at Janak's ear. "Are you an idiot!? You know Lakos would betray your little 'deal' faster than you could even begin to realize as you were laying there bleeding out!"

Janak looked up at Visdin. "How do you know?.." he asked.

Lakos giggled a bit to himself. "Actually, he's right." he confirmed.

Janak glanced up at Lakos. "You...would?..." he replied, his voice shaken.

Visdin glared at Lakos. "As I feared," he replied, recoiling his metal hand.

Lakos shrugs his shoulders. "Ah, well. It doesn't matter." he replied, readying his daggers. "I prefer fighting anyway."

Janak grabbed his right arm and it began to glow aqua blue again. Electricity and energy jumped to all centimeters of his flesh. "I won't forgive you for trying to trick me, you monster!" roared Janak.

"Hey, well bub, it would've been your fault if it actually worked. Fortunately for ya friend ta come at such an inconvenient time for me." Lakos plants his right hand flat upon the sooth surface of the floor. Ice began spawning all over the room, towering out from the ground like a large tree. It pierced the tops of the ceiling and rocks rained down.

The floor underneath everybody's feet crystallized into solid ice. Janak's stern face didn't change, though he got a quick look of himself. His glance glared down his own eyes in his reflection. Evil eyes glared back at him with the same stern face. Janak had become the masquerade he created. Joshua. His long silver hair cloaked his face.

He remembered the absolute thirst of revenge he had kept thirsty for so long. And that was to kill his step-father. After all the abuses and hatred, Janak wanted nothing more to kill him, afterall Janak resented James with all his strength.

Janak's emotionless eyes glance upon his glowing hand, the energy waltzed and danced. He began to remember the happiness, the continuing happiness that he feels after feeling the blood of his step-father cover him. He tightly closed his eyes and his right hand locked into a fist.

"And here I believe I was justice," he said in his head. "But I guess in actuality, I'm no different from the iniquity that I purge." Lakos stood back to his feet in a slow motion for Janak, while he still stood motionless like a statue. "No, I am different," he stated in his head, pulling down his fist. "These people only wish to harm the innocent. I wish to protect them."

Janak slowly opened his eyes, glaring winter like straight at Lakos. But then the werewolf gave off a pleasured smile. "There we go," he said, pointing his right dagger straight at Janak like a gun to it's target. "Those are the eyes I've been waitin' from ya."

"Lakos Del Cogelada, your injustices have caused countless crimes to spread across the desert, causing disorder and violence. By my blade, justice such strike you down to your damnation."

"We'll see, bub. We'll see." Lakos raises the Orb of Darkness in his hand. "Shadows! Kill his comrades, let me deal with 'im personally."

The shadow's eyes glow golden yellow, their heads facing Lakos, but then pointing to Visdin and Sarah like a compass arrow. Visdin glances at Janak, who doesn't look back at him like he usually would. "He's definitely got look in his eyes again," said Visdin, jumping over to Sarah, who's legs were still not her own. Visdin looked back upon Sarah. "Can you move?"

Sarah tried lifting her leg up to walk, not even with the force of her arms trying to pull it up could make it move. "I'm sorry," she apologized. "But I'm of little use."

"No, you have absolutely no need to apologize," he replied, quickly pointing his right hand at the faces of the incoming shadows without his eyes looking upon them. Fire began erupting from the palm of his hand. "You just apologize for everything, don't you? Even if it isn't your fault."

Sarah's head goes down, her eyelids hung low. "I'm sorry," she repeated. "I try not to be a burden, but-"

"-But nothing, stop apologizing." Visdin interrupted. "It's not your fault that your feelings brought Janak back, it's not your fault that all this nonsense in our lives has happened. You are not to blame for this world's tragedy, Salomon was the man, armed with a selfish ambition, that created all this chaos and madness."

"Visdin..."
