Sorry everyone, having trouble writing the next add... it just doesn't seem to turn out right. As such, the add will be a little delayed... I should have out it by the end of Sunday though. "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

Nice work Niht! You broke the record for how long you can stress Nick before he goes ape and tears you apart!

Don't blame him, he just loves a good fight. Plus he's got my impatience, whenever he's not in an add that is...

Jen made the mistake of looking off to the side and nearly collapsed out of dizziness.

“Chris?” she asked, “Are you sure it's up here?”

“Absolutely,” replied Chris, “HE is the one who told me about it after all.”

“I think Chris is right,” commented Jayson, “The balance is definitely distorted up here... the power of light in this area is hard to believe...”

“And see? Here we are,” announced Chris, as he reached the mountain's summit. It took a few moments for the others to catch up, but once they did, what they saw startled them... before them, sitting upon the mountain's summit was a massive building that looked as if it might be a palace; the entire thing was made of marble and gold and shown with such brilliance that it took the Guthixians a while for their eyes to adjust.

“This is it,” said Chris, “The Temple of Aither. From here we can get into Muspellheim.”

“Excellent,” said Herba, “With this, we can retrieve one of the weapons and bring it into Guthix's safekeeping... praise be to Guthix!”

Just as Herba finished speaking, Jayson suddenly ran over to her and tackled her to the ground. Before anyone could question him about this, a ball of darkness slammed into the place Herba had been standing and exploded.

“What the hell was that?!” questioned Jen, running over to Jayson and Herba.

Jayson stood up and giving Jen a look that warned her to stay away, tossed something in what appeared to be a random direction. Whatever it was he threw, it exploded into a ball of lightning, barely missing someone who seemed to appear out of nowhere.

“Huh,” said the person as she came to a stop, “How did you find me?”

“Dark power is pretty easy to detect here,” replied Jayson, “It stands out amongst all the light power.”

“Heh, should've expected that from the chosen of Guthix,” laughed the girl. Suddenly, noticing Chris, she smiled and began waving saying, “Hey Chris, long time no see.* "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

“Ah, why?” Chris asked no one in particular, “What did I do to deserve having to see Hekate again?”

“Nice to see you too,” said Hekate, “But I'm still going to beat you to a pulp.”

“Unlikely,” said Jayson, “Your power is weakened here, and you are easy to detect. If you were someone who draws power from light it might be a different matter.”

“Someone who draws power from light?” asked Hekate, giggling.

“What's so funny?” asked Jayson. In response, Hekate just burst out laughing.

“I imagine she thinks it funny that you didn't notice me,” someone behind Jayson said. At hearing this voice, the Guthixian instinctively jumped forward, carrying Herba with him. As he did so, he noticed several arrows flit past his head, speeding toward the person behind him.

Seth noticed the arrows as well, and with a single slash of his sword, knocked them aside. Turning to Jen, who was already notching another arrow, Seth said, “Lay down you arms, I do not like fighting women.”

“How chivalrous,” commented Jen, “But I'm not the type to stand aside.”

“Wait Jen,” said Chris. Leaning over, he whispered something to her, causing a puzzled expression to appear on her face.

“You sure?” she asked.

“Trust me,” replied Chris, “This will work.”

“Alright,” sighed Jen, notching another arrow.

“Must you continue at this?” asked Seth, clearly wishing not to fight her.

“Afraid so,” replied Jen, firing a barrage of arrows at Seth. While the young man was preoccupied in dealing with her arrows, Jen dashed over to Jayson and whispered something to him. Jayson look surprised, but nodded nonetheless.

*What are you up to?” asked Seth.

“Nothing that need concern you,” replied Jayson, placing his hand on the ground. As his hand made contact with the ground, the earth began to tremble, and a large thicket rose in front of the three Guthixians, acting as a wall between them and their attackers.

“They're trying to get to the temple!” exclaimed Hekate. "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."
