Chuk, don't feel bad. One of my favorite all-time books is 1500 pages long. It's just that I think shorter pieces are easier to make at high quality, while longer stories tend to be boring in parts.
These are generalizations, not every long story has boring parts, just most do. From what I've read of Echoes (though that isnt much) its not boring at all.
In fact its quite thrilling, lol.
That being said, my favorite of your writings are still in "From the Misty Depths". =p

I'd like to apologise for the delay. I returned from vacation last week to find that my computer charger was not working properly. My back-up PC has monitor problems at the moment, so I've been utterly cut off from serious usage of these forums. I am now focusing on completing your review, however.
