Annie
The disillusion was unpleasant for sure, but at least it clarified things. As for her medical bracelet, she was in an area with military-grade jamming technology, civilian equipment would not be possible to detect her. In her stress, whatever strange power she possessed began to churn again. For some reason, this power connected with her consciousness, allowing her to control it simply by using her thoughts. How did she realize this? Unknown, but it was there, for now.
As for how she could escape, there were a few ways to begin. If Annie’s fiery power was extremely hot, she could unleash a very short-range, but very powerful, torrent of blue-hot flames, to gradually melt the glass window or the ventilation cover. As a reminder, beyond the glass window, was a large chamber, an android-manufacturing facility. Amidst the robotics and machinery, all of which was automated, there was plenty of dark places to sneak around. If Annie was clever, she would be able to begin her sneaking without leaving a single indication of where she went.
X7A
She had to finish this mission, there was no other way.
The Asari she scanned simply had an “Unknown” label, suggesting that the Asari had no legal documentation of any kind on Earth, and so probably had arrived illegally. However, scans suggested a “very high” threat level.
“X7A, this is Michael. Your scanners just detected someone with a level of Biotics way off the charts. No one on Earth has Biotics that high. I don’t know what you intend to do, but I suggest extreme caution. You are expendable for this mission, but you are no use for us if you die before reaching your objective. Michael out.”
Well, the Asari did not do much, and casually walked into the warehouse, hipsway presented. The Asari did not seem to care about X7A, but considering the fact that the Asari spotted her, the Asari definitely was a witty, attentive, intelligent individual.
