I have still done nothing with Archaeology, and I cannot train Invention. Therefore, these skills are both at level 1.

It does look interesting, based upon what I have read about the skill.
Really, the only thing delaying me from exploring Archaeology is that I am low on bank space. Once I have solved that issue, I will look forward to digging into this skill and discovering lost artifacts. Sounds like fun!

I used the Skull Sceptre to teleport to the shades on Level 4 of the Stronghold of Security. I easily dispatched them. The second shade I destroyed dropped a shade robe bottom. Later on, I received a shade robe top and another shade robe bottom from them. I now have a total of seven robe tops and three robe bottoms.
I chose to use the portal to travel to the treasure room, then made my way to the large chamber packed with ankou and ghosts. I killed quite a few of each. Then I made a fatal mistake. I used Cleave to attack a ghost, trying to hit a nearby ghost as well, so I could fight two ghosts at the same time. The second ghost moved out of range. Instead, my 2h sword connected with two ankou that had wandered too close to my battle with the ghost - one on either side of me! The three monsters ganged up on me. I tried to fight them off as best I could, but my life points were nearly gone. I tried to run past them so I could pass through the doors to heal, but one of the bonebags struck me from behind and everything went black. I was dead!
Or was I?
The next thing I knew, I was standing in Death's office. We had a nice chat. He told me it was not my time to die, then offered to return the rest of my loot - for a price. I had kept my rune chainbody +3, rune plateskirt +3, and my rune 2h sword +3. Somehow he had everything else available for me to buy back. I did not see the shade robes I had found. I paid Death the 14,663gp he asked for. I returned to Lumbridge, alive and angry. I was mad at myself for taking a stupid risk that (sort of) got me killed. I also resented the ankou for beating me.
Now I was back, fully healed and with all my stuff, including the shade robes. Now it was time for payback! Yes, payback is a bitch.
So am I.
I teleported back to the shades and used their portal to return to the treasure room. I went through the doors, stepped into the chamber, and yelled "Revenge is mine!"

I ran into the chamber and began venting my fury upon the ankou and the ghosts. None of them stood a chance.
After I had killed three of each, I managed to reach Attack, Defence, and Strength level 53 as well as combat level 66.
I continued my rampage, slaughtering enough ankou and ghosts to get Constitution level 55.
I kept killing more ankou and ghosts. I defeated enough ankou to more than cover the 14,663gp Death charged me so I wouldn't have to replace my gear or lose any of my drops. I ended up making over 21,000gp off the ankou. I also found 240 adamant arrows, 20 death runes, 10 noted yew logs, a noted piece of mystic cloth, and five pieces of salvage (two medium bladed mithril, two medium plated mithril, and one tiny plated adamant). I have still not received Cremation from the ghosts.
They tried to kill me. They only made me stronger.

Kat

It was a close call, but last night I managed to complete a Daily Smithing Challenge just before game reset. I smithed 150 bronze arrowheads. I redeemed this just in time to keep my streak alive, having turned in Daily Challenges nine days in a row. I also got Smithing level 61.
Early this morning, I completed two Slayer tasks. The first was to kill 15 bats. The second was to kill 26 zombies. During the second task, I fulfilled two Daily Challenges - Slayer and Prayer. When I redeemed these, I received a message informing me that I had completed the DailyScape achievement. I also got Prayer level 44.

I had teleported to Falador in order to pass through the crumbled portion of the city wall on my way to the dark wizards' tower. After killing 20 or so of these pathetic mages and collecting a decent assortment of runes, some coins, and a staff from their bodies, I decided to head north.
I hadn't gone far before I encountered a small boy named Harvey. He was upset because he had lost his ball. It landed in a garden owned by a witch, who took the child's toy and locked it away inside her shed. I told myself I might benefit from taking on this witch, but I found myself angered that this crone was intentionally inflicting harm upon this child - and something inside me was not about to tolerate that! I told Harvey I'd see what I could do.
Getting inside the house was easy enough, as I found a key under a potted plant. An odd door with no handle led to the garden. I searched the house for clues. I found cheese near the entrance, and a magnet in a cupboard in the basement, behind an electric gate. With help from a mouse, I got past the odd door and entered the garden.
The witch never saw me as I slipped past her. The shed was locked, but a nearby fountain begged to be searched. There I found the shed key. I dashed back to the shed and opened the door. Inside I spotted the ball. As I reached for it, a shapeshifter appeared and attacked me. It had four forms. I easily defeated this experiment and grabbed the ball. I strode back through the house, helped myself to another piece of cheese on the way out, and walked back to where Harvey was waiting. I gave the child his ball. He thanked me.
Finishing this quest granted me 6,325 Constitution XP. I was also awarded 4 quest points, which brought my total to 25 QP.

Kat
