Dear Diary,
This afternoon, I completed Daily Challenges in Thieving, Firemaking, and Prayer.
I helped myself to 3 loaves of bread and 2 cakes from a Lumbridge Market bakery stall. Next, I burned 10 protean logs in a bonfire someone else had built west of Lumbridge Market. Right after I burned the last protean log, the bonfire went out. So I went west and chopped a yew log. I brought back this log and set fire to it east of the bank chest. Then I used this yew log fire to cremate 10 sets of big bones.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 93 Firemaking.
Later today, I gathered several types of bones. At the Grand Exchange, I traded 600 fire runes and 600 water runes for a large amount of bones and big bones. I also killed hill giants for big bones, bats for bat bones, wolves for wolf bones, and zombies in Edgeville Dungeon for bones, where I also collected bone spawns.
Before I went to Varrock and headed east to fight the bats, I entered The Wilderness to gather more skulls for my collection. After I had placed 4 skulls in my backpack, I was suddenly struck by flame! For an instant, I thought I was being ambushed by demons, but that was not the case. I had been hit by flaming debris spewed forth from the volcano! I hadn't realized these eruptions could reach quite that far, but no matter. The wounds were minor. I quickly healed myself by resting as I continued picking up additional skulls.
Once I had 20 skulls in my inventory, I teleported to Varrock, where I banked. I now have 140 skulls in my collection.
When the secrets of Necromancy are revealed to me, I will be prepared.
