As of today, Postie Pete has ceased handing out presents. The event has ended.

I still had 90 white presents and 100 blue presents in my inventory.

Tonight I opened 50 blue presents and received:

I used the first 12 medium lamps to gain Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength XP. I rubbed the 13th medium lamp to gain Magic XP, then I used the 14th medium lamp to gain Ranged XP.

I used all the medium stars to gain Firemaking BXP.

I have 90 white presents and 50 blue presents left in my backpack.

I still had 90 white presents and 50 blue presents in my inventory, so tonight I opened all.50 remaining blue presents and received:

I still have 90 white presents left in my backpack. I shall open these gifts in due time.

Then I will make plans to return to Ashdale. I have a ghost to find.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon, I completed Daily Challenges in Smithing, Firemaking, and Mining.

I smithed 150 rune arrowheads at the Lumbridge anvil. Next, I chopped 10 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market and burned them in a bonfire. Then I mined 20 adamantite ores at the southeast Varrock mine. I also found two geodes, which contained an uncut jade and an uncut ruby. I successfully cut both gems.

I redeemed these challenges to reach 83 Mining.

Dear Diary,

Today the Academy Of Heroes promo returned to Treasure Hunter for a third time.

Three months ago, I advised a novice adventurer named Natalia. Now I am currently training a new adventurer named Sun. Under my guidance, she managed to slay a pesky imp with two blows. Then she dispatched an imp after four attacks. A promising start for a newbie.

For winning her first two fights, Sun advanced from level 3 to level 5. I was awarded a medium prismatic lamp, 2 medium stars, a large star, 2 aura refreshes, and a deathtouched dart. I now have five of these darts in my bank.

Sun's next opponent will be a level 6 crassian scout.

Dear Diary,

Tonight I completed Daily Challenges in Firemaking, Cooking, and Mining by burning 10 protean logs in a bonfire, which I used to cook 10 crayfish before mining 20 adamantite ores. I also found a geode containing an uncut diamond, which I cut.

Dear Diary,

Sun's combat training continues to go well. She defeated that level 6 crassian scout after five attacks.

For winning her third fight, Sun advanced to level 6. I was awarded a medium prismatic star, a large prismatic lamp, and an aura refresh. I used the lamp and the star on Firemaking.

Sun's next opponent will be a level 4 imp. She has killed one of these before, so I'm sure she will have no difficulties in dispatching this imp.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Firemaking, and Runecrafting by skipping the Dungeoneering task with a challenge token, burning 10 protean logs in a bonfire, and siphoning 8 air runes from a cyclone within the Runespan. While burning the protean logs, I liberated a trapped fire spirit. It rewarded me with a copper stone spirit before it disappeared.

Later today, I opened 30 white presents and received:

Dear Diary,

Sun continues to progress. As expected, she beat that second level 4 imp. It took her five attacks, though it was nearly dead after her fourth strike.

For winning her fourth fight, Sun advanced to level 7. I was awarded a large prismatic star, a medium prismatic star, and a life refresh. I used both stars to gain Firemaking BXP.

Sun's next opponent will be her toughest yet - a level 8 super cow

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I completed Daily Challenges in Thieving, Mining, and Runecrafting by swiping 3 loaves of bread and 2 cakes from a Lumbridge Market bakery stall, mining 20 adamantite ores at the southeast Varrock mine, and crafting 124 water runes from 26 essence at the Water Altar in Lumbridge Swamp. While mining, I found two geodes containing an uncut sapphire and an uncut emerald. I cut both gems.

Later today, I opened the last 20 white presents and received:

I have no presents remaining in my backpack. Now that my Christmas event has ended (four weeks after Christmas), I will have more time to focus on other matters - such as tracking down a certain ghost on Ashdale. This time, I will be sure to bring a relevant amulet with me.

Dear Diary,

Last night I took a Ghostspeak Amulet from my bank and teleported to Ashdale.

I spent the night on the island in another attempt to make contact with the ghost I saw there previously. I searched the island from north to south, and even visited the temple. The ghostly figure was nowhere to be found. Eventually, I decided to return to the mainland this afternoon.

Whoever this ghost was in life, she revealed herself to me once so far. She may well do so again. It seemed as though she needed to speak with me. Perhaps the right time for this conversation has not yet come to pass. When it does arrive, I shall be ready.
