Dear Diary,

Another DXP event is drawing to an end.

This morning, I burned 120 protean logs on a bonfire. After I had burned 11 protean logs, I raised my Firemaking to level 88. After roughly 60 proteans, I managed to burn up all my remaining 51,000 Firemaking BXP.

I had 550 credits to spend with Nic The Trader. I bought five medium prismatic lamps, which I used to boost my Attack, Constitution, Defence, Strength, and Runecrafting. I also purchased a medium portable skilling pack and an advanced pulse core.

I claimed 3 white balloons from Party Pete this morning as well. I received mostly food. I did get 25,000gp plus two small XP lamps, which I used on Fishing and Runecrafting.

Rubbing that first small XP lamp got me 70 Fishing. My RuneScore is now 1,615.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon, I claimed a white balloon and 3 blue balloons from Party Pete. I received mostly food. I did get 300,000gp plus two XP lamps - a medium lamp and a small lamp. I used the medium lamp to gain enough Runecrafting XP. to put me only 329 XP from the next level.

As I was so close, I chose to not use the small XP lamp on Runecrafting. Instead, I used it to gain Fletching XP (I will soon be able to make rune arrows). I grabbed my body talisman and teleported to Varrock. I had Aubury teleport me to the rune essence mine twice. Both times I mined 23 rune essence, which I brought to the Body Altar in Edgeville. On my first run, I crafted 51 body runes. On my second run, I crafted 55 body runes, and got 70 Runecrafting.

With this level gain, all my F2P skills are now at level 70+. Also, I can now craft 6 mind runes or 3 fire runes per essence.

My RuneScore is now 1,620.

Dear Diary,

Today I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Fletching, and Woodcutting.

I used a challenge token to skip the Dungeoneering task. Next, I carved and strung 6 yew shieldbows. Then I chopped 10 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market.

Redeeming these challenges got me 75 Fletching. Now I can make rune arrows.

Not lazy. Necessary.

I currently have three giant prismatic lamps and a huge prismatic lamp in my backpack. I am waiting until I receive another giant or huge lamp. Then I intend to use the equivalent of a giant lamp on each of my four melee skills.

Since I cannot bank the lamps, or bring them into Daemonheim, I will not be Dungeoneering until I use the lamps as intended. I will not allow my plans to be disrupted simply because Jagex randomly decides it is time for me to play their DG minigame. I'm just not.

Besides, Dungeoneering tasks take too damned long to complete. I've been putting out fire with gasoline!

Dear Diary,

Overnight I completed today's Daily Challenges in Firemaking, Prayer, and Cooking.

I used 10 protean logs to build a bonfire east of the Lumbridge Market bank chest. I cremated 10 sets of big bones within the flames. Then I cooked 10 crayfish over this bonfire.

Redeeming these challenges got me 71 Cooking.

Afterwards, I took a walk into The Wilderness, where I collected another 20 skulls.

My plans continue to advance...

Dear Diary,

Today I purchased the Dragon Scimitar bundle for 200 RuneCoins. This bundle of cosmetic weapon overrides contains main-hand and off-hand versions of the Replica Dragon Scimitar, as well as an updated model known as the Dragonwing Scimitar.

I withdrew my Rune Longswords +3 and equipped these blades in place of my Rune 2h Sword +3, which I banked. I applied the appearance of the Dragonwing Scimitars to my longswords, with the Flaming Sword Enchantment active. The two cosmetic effects combine to make a wicked pair of weapons!

I took my new sharp-looking scimitars with me into Edgeville Dungeon this afternoon to show them off to the poison spiders. The spiders were not impressed. Naturally, they had to die.

Dear Diary,

This evening, I completed Daily Challenges in Thieving, Fletching, and Runecrafting.

I used a challenge token to skip the Thieving task, as pickpocketing is an annoying waste of time. Next, I carved and strung 6 yew shieldbows. Then I crafted 64 body runes from 27 rune essence at the Body Altar.

Redeeming these challenges got me 71 Runecrafting.
