Dear Diary,

This afternoon I received two small protean packs from opening a pair of variety packs. I opened these protean packs to gain 75 protean logs and 75 protean hides.

After I fletched nearly one-third of the protean logs, I reached 74 Fletching.

After I crafted a little more than two-thirds of the protean hides, I reached 78 Crafting.

Then I completed Daily Challenges in Fletching, Firemaking, and Cooking.

I fletched 100 mithril arrows inside Edgeville's bank. Next, I burned 10 yew logs on a bonfire just outside the bank. Then I cooked 10 crayfish over the bonfire.

As I burned the fourth yew log, I reached 87 Firemaking.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon, I claimed three balloons from Party Pete.

Inside a white balloon, I found 50 oddments and a plain pizza.

Inside a blue balloon, I found 100,000gp, 25 silverhawk down, and 50 tight springs.

Inside a purple balloon, I found 5,000,000gp, a large XP lamp, and a large BXP star.

Dear Diary,

This evening I completed Daily Challenges in Fishing, Crafting, and Combat.

I caught 14 crayfish behind the Lumbridge church. Next, I crafted 20 gold amulets at the Lumbridge furnace. After I alched these amulets, I teleported to Edgeville. Then I fought and killed 17 poison spiders in Edgeville Dungeon.

I used the Challenge XP lamp to reach 71 Magic.

Daily Challenges are definitely worth doing.

Good that you work on daily tasks imo.
I don't often train Magic or Ranged, aside from using Challenge XP lamps on these skills, or casting Alchemy spells from my Explorer's Ring to raise Magic. I find melee to be more effective than the other two combat styles. I find this to be especially true when battling Hollowtoof, Dungeoneering bosses, or other higher-level foes, such as the deadly reds. I've been putting out fire with gasoline!

Dear Diary,

This afternoon, I used 60 protean bars to do some protean necronium smithing at the Lumbridge anvil. When I was nearly halfway through, I reached 80 Smithing. This increased my RuneScore to 1,610. Also, 80 Smithing is one of three requirements to unlock the Invention skill, along with 80 Crafting and 80 Divination.

I also burned up 180 protean logs, which in turn burned up around 148,000 Firemaking BXP.

Later on, I completed Daily Challenges in Woodcutting, Runecrafting, and Crafting.

I chopped 10 yew logs in Edgeville. Next, I crafted 57 body runes from 24 rune essence at the Body Altar. Then I teleported to Lumbridge, where I crafted 20 gold amulets.

Redeeming these challenges put me 9 XP away from gaining the next Woodcutting level. I chopped a normal tree north of Lumbridge Market and reached 74 Woodcutting. I went on to chop an additional log and 8 oak logs before banking.

I also claimed 7 balloons from Party Pete this afternoon - a white balloon and 6 blue balloons. I received mostly food and oddments. I did get 200,000gp, plus a medium XP lamp (which I used on Runecrafting) and a medium BXP star (which I used on Firemaking). I also found a "Party" title scroll (current G.E. value: 3.3 million gp). I opted not to activate the title. Instead, I tossed the scroll into my bank. I may sell it. I haven't decided yet.
