Early this morning I returned from my 16th trip to Daemonheim. It had been nearly four months since I last explored these dungeons.
I cleared Floor 17 on Complexity 6.
In the first room, east of the starting room, I fished a dozen short-finned eels. After I had caught three of them, I reached 71 Fishing. Later, I caught another 12 short-finned eels, which was more than I needed to complete my Daily Fishing Challenge.
I found a dark spirit I had to exorcise from a door to the south. This required 45 Prayer.
In another room, walls blocked the way to the only other door. I carved a magic stone leg to attach to a damaged construct. I awakened the repaired construct, and it moved around the room, lowering the walls as it went.
In various rooms I battled a level 78 skeleton, a level 79 shade, two level 84 rangers in connecting rooms, and a level 70 zombie. These were decent fights. The other foes I fought were no challenge at all.
I found enough rusty coins to buy three zephyrium ores, which I smelted and smithed into a zephyrium full helm and boots. I found gauntlets in the home room. I have a zephyrium platebody, plateskirt, and 2h sword bound to me, so I had full zephyrium gear.
In the boss room I fought an Unholy Cursebearer for the first time. This was an intense but fun boss fight. This undead mage did not hit that hard, but it drained my combat stats! The unholy fonts along the back wall restored my stats - but also healed the Cursebearer! I had to quickly overwhelm this foe before it could drain me too much, which I did. I only ate one dusk eel after the battle - to make room for the loot.
I found an air staff and part 9 of the Mysterious Chronicle.
Before leaving the dungeon, I sold all my food and my unbound armor so I could buy more logs to train Firemaking and some rune essence to train Runecrafting.
Completing this dungeon also completed a Daily Dungeoneering Challenge.
I unlocked Floor 18.

This evening, I completed Daily Challenges in Crafting, Mining, and Combat.
I used a challenge token to skip the Crafting task, as I didn't feel like making equipment. I teleported to Al Kharid and headed north to the mine, where I mined 25 gold ores and killed 15 scorpions before I returned to Lumbridge to smelt the gold ores.
Redeeming these challenges got me 79 Crafting and 81 Mining.

Kat
