Dear Diary,

Tonight I brought Postie Pete another 600 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper. In return he gave me a White present and two blue presents. Inside the White present I found 2 sea turtles, 25 oddments, and a small star. The first Blue present contained 7 mulled wines, 25 silverhawk down, and 50 tight springs. Inside the second Blue present I found 50 oddments, 50 tight springs, and a medium star.

Shortly after I found myself in this strange land of Gielinor, I thought it would be in my best interest to document my accomplishments as I strive for greater power, as well as answers to the mystery of my existence here. I found a few clues, but a complete understanding of my origin continues to elude me. Ashdale seems to figure into the mystery somehow. Exactly what connection I might have to that place is unknown - for now.

Dear Diary,

On the morning of the new year, I decided to celebrate by exploring a place I had not gone to before: the Warriors' Guild!

I had heard of a magical device within the guild which allows warriors to fight their own animated armor, so I retrieved a rune platebody, rune platelegs, and a rune full helm from my bank, then approached the door to the guild. After briefly speaking with the dolt outside the entrance, I went inside.

I talked with Harrallak Menarous, who owns and operates the guild. He told me about the guild activities and how taking part in them earns you tokens. He mentioned his mean, angry pets on the top floor that drop defenders - blades which also act as shields. I was eager to fight these beasts. First, I needed to get some tokens.

I left the entry hall and proceeded down a corridor. I opened a door to the west. Inside this room I met an odd man called Shanomi, who explained how the animation machines work. I placed the rune armor on one of the machines. My armor assembled itself into a level 81 opponent, declared "I'M ALIVE!", and advanced to attack me. I swiftly defeated the armor and the pieces fell to the floor. I gathered them and repeated the process. I fought the rune armor ten times, earning 800 tokens. I then banked the spare armor and climbed the stairs to the third floor.

At the top of the Warriors' Guild I met the woman Kamfreena who told me about the cyclopes. I had no defender to show her, so she released cyclopes that drop bronze defenders. I entered their lair. Inside I faced level 57 and level 68 cyclopes. They were not aggressive - but I was! The cyclopes were no match for me and Arteria. The level 57s were easy to kill, while the level 68s took slightly longer to dispatch but they too fell before me. I stayed in there until I had used up all but 20 of my 800 tokens.

I killed 62 cyclopes. While I did end up with nearly a full pack of loot, I did not find a single defender. No matter. I will be back.

Dear Diary,

Here is a list of everything I looted from the bodies of the 62 cyclopes I killed atop the Warriors' Guild, in addition to the coins that went straight into my currency pouch:

46 black knives
21 off-hand black knives

1 black 2-h sword
2 grimy guam
1 grimy tarromin
2 medium bladed iron salvage
2 small bladed steel salvage
2 medium bladed steel salvage
3 medium plated steel salvage
3 tiny spiky steel salvage
1 small bladed mithril salvage
3 tiny blunt adamant salvage

I banked the three herbs and sold everything else except for the 46 black knives. Those weren't moving on the Grand Exchange. The Varrock shopkeeper offered to buy the knives from me for 4gp each, but I declined. I can make 7gp per knife by low alching them.

Dear Diary,

This morning I used a skip token to auto-complete a Daily Dungeoneering Challenge. This got me 67 Dungeoneering. I also completed another Slayer task by killing 23 bats east of Varrock.

This weekend I received eight blue presents from Postie Pete in exchange for bringing him another 1,600 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper.

Inside these eight presents, I found the following:

a Mammoth plush token, 3 yule logs, and a medium XP lamp
a Penguin plush token, 25 silverhawk down, and a medium star
3 yule logs, 50 oddments, and a medium star
a mince pie, 50 oddments, and 50 tight springs
100 oddments and 50 tight springs
4 yule logs, 50 oddments, and 50 tight springs
100 oddments and a medium star
2 Present sack tokens and 50 tight springs

I activated one of the Present sack tokens, and banked the other tokens. I previously unlocked the Mammoth and Penguin plushies. I banked the rest after using the medium XP lamp on Prayer and the three medium stars to gain BXP in Firemaking.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I returned to one of my favorite places to train combat - the poison spiders' cave in Edgeville Dungeon.

Of course they attacked me on sight. The first spider met me halfway down the corridor. I quickly slew it and advanced into the spiders' lair. They stopped being aggressive towards me after I had killed the 48th spider. Upon slaying spider #49, I reached 67 Attack, Defence, and Strength as well as combat level 85. I unlocked the Decimate and Preparation combat abilities. I killed two more poison spiders to get 67 Constitution.

The cyclopes will really be in trouble now. If they were smart, they would be quick to drop defenders for me and spare themselves a lot of pain.

Thank you Jamandy52. You are correct. They did not.

Right now I am undecided as to whether I will return to the Warriors' Guild or to Daemonheim for my next adventure.

Perhaps a nice stroll through The Wilderness will help me to choose. I've been putting out fire with gasoline!
