This evening I won a large XP lamp on Treasure Hunter. I rubbed this lamp to get 67 Prayer.
Then I completed my Daily Challenges in Firemaking, Fishing, and Mining by building a bonfire in Burthorpe using willow logs, catching crayfish behind the church in Lumbridge, and mining mithril ore at the southwest Varrock mine. I redeemed these tasks to reach 78 Firemaking and 60 Fishing.
Later tonight I completed another three Daily Challenges. I was assigned Smithing, Crafting, and Runecrafting tasks. I smithed 300 steel arrowheads, crafted 10 accursed urns, and siphoned 8 air runes in the Runespan. Redeeming these challenges got me 70 Crafting. Now I am able to craft diamond amulets.
I then donated over 100,000gp worth of fire and water runes to Sir Desmond for the Secret Santa giveaway. In return he gave me a medium XP lamp, which I rubbed to reach 68 Dungeoneering. I was also given a turkey drumstick.
My Total Level is now 1180.

Although the Christmas event has now ended, Postie Pete will still trade presents for wrapping paper for two more weeks. I had 297 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper left in my currency pouch, so I gave Pete a final 200 pieces of paper. In return he gave me a White present. Inside this present I found 12 turkey drumsticks, 10 silverhawk down, and 25 tight springs. Turkey legs and trash...how wonderfully festive.
I never saw a gold present. Probably only members received those, if they were lucky.

If it's any consolation, I gained neqarly 100m ingame experience, and turned in over 200k paper and never saw a gold either. The good news is, they will likely give us more ways to get the green santa again!

This evening I won three giant prismatic lamps on Treasure Hunter. I had not decided which skills to boost with these lamps, so I left them in my pack.
I saw there was a 75% sale on medium prismatic lamps, so I thought I would buy four groups of five XP lamps and use these to raise my Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength equally, as I like to do. I bought my first set of lamps and I had intended to use just the five medium lamps on Attack. However, in that moment I had forgotten about those giant lamps I had won earlier - so when I chose the Use All option I accidently used the five medium lamps AND the three giant lamps to gain a massive amount of XP - enough to raise my Attack from level 67 to 70! This also raised my combat level to 86. It took me a moment to realize what I had done. I said, "Oh, that was stupid!"
Later tonight, I saw TH keys were 50% off, so I bought 30 keys with oddments, hoping for more XP lamps to correct the error I had made. I ended up winning 2 huge lamps, 3 large lamps, plus several medium and small lamps, along with thousands more oddments. Through these XP lamps I managed to get 68 Constitution, Defence, and Strength as well as combat level 87.
I am not pausing my Attack XP. However, I plan to use XP lamps on my other three melee skills until I get them to level 70 as well.

This morning I completed my Daily Challenges in Fletching, Fishing, and Divination by carving and stringing six maple shieldbows, catching crayfish behind the church in Lumbridge, and harvesting pale wisps. I redeemed these tasks to reach 60 Fletching.
I can now make adamant arrows.

This past evening the Wintumber Aurora Yak Track came to an end. I didn't really pay much attention to it, as with other Yak Tracks. I had completed the first 12 tiers, mostly while Skilling and Killing my way through each day's three Daily Challenges.
With only a few hours left in the event, I used my two free skip tokens to auto-complete Tasks 13 and 14. Then I accessed my bank in Burthorpe and took out 720 protead hides. I used these hides to work on Task 15, which was to earn 139,905 Crafting XP. While working on the fourth batch of 60 protean dragonhides, I reached 71 Crafting.
As I used up protean hide #703, I completed Tier 15 and was awarded the Aurora Cape cosmetic override. I like the look of this cape. It has a particle effect along the bottom edge.
Currently, I am wearing the Aurora Cape in-game.

This afternoon I wandered around in The Wilderness for some time.
I explored the western edge of this wasteland a bit more. I have yet to discover a way up the cliffs near the dark wizards. As I walked north, I saw a couple of green dragons. They did not attack me. As I have no protection against dragon breath at this time, I chose not to engage them in combat.
While in Level 2 Wilderness, I collected another 28 skulls. Now I have a total of 88 skulls in my bank. I also gathered 21 sets of bones inside Edgeville Dungeon today, and added them to my bank as well.
Are you concerned, Diary? Fear not. I am not secretly building an undead army with which I intend to conquer this world called Gielinor.

Late tonight I completed my Daily Challenges in Woodcutting, Runecrafting, and Fishing by chopping ten yew logs in Lumbridge, siphoning eight air runes in the Runespan, and catching crayfish behind the church in Lumbridge. I redeemed these tasks to reach 64 Woodcutting and 60 Runecrafting.
