Dear Diary,

This afternoon I went back to the Runespan, where I completed another Daily Runecrafting Challenge. I continued to siphon more runes until after I had reached Runecrafting level 53.

I then teleported to Lumbridge. I went north towards Fred's farm and killed four nearby goblins. Burying their bones raised my Prayer level to 54, which got me to combat level 76.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I completed a Daily Cooking Challenge by cooking 10 pieces of beef and roasting 16 lobsters. I burned 9 lobsters. Redeeming this challenge got me 50 Cooking. Now I can make chocolate cakes and cook web snippers in Daemonheim.

I then grabbed my chef's hat and gathered all the ingredients I needed to bake a cake or two. I went to the Cooking Guild, where I took a chocolate bar and a cake tin.

I teleported back to Lumbridge and entered Castle Lumbridge's kitchen. I mixed together some milk, flour, and an egg. I attempted to cook this uncooked cake, but the cake burned. I low-alched the burnt cake, got two more buckets of milk from the Lumbridge dairy cow, and returned to the range to try again. This time, I successfully baked a cake. I added the chocolate bar to create a chocolate cake, which completed another Hard Lumbridge task. I have just one Medium achievement and two Hard achievements left to do. For these, I will need to start Dragon Slayer, reach 59 Magic, and get 57 Runecrafting.

Dear Diary,

This morning I returned from my tenth trip to Daemonheim.

I cleared Floor 12 on Complexity 6. This was the first of the Abandoned floors I have explored. This was also my first medium-sized dungeon.

This level contained no puzzle rooms. However, there were two skilling doors I could not pass through, since they required 87 Mining and 79 Firemaking. Two other skilling doors required Agility and Herblore levels higher than 50. Also, there were two other doors I could not open, because the required keys were somewhere beyond the skilling doors I could not open. I did successfully get past two dark spirits, two doors with broken keys, a door with a magic barrier, and a door I had to imbue with runic energy.

I found enough rusty coins to purchase five zephyrium ores, which I smelted and smithed into a zephyrium platebody. I bound this to me, in place of my fractite platebody.

At the end I fought a Hobgoblin Geomancer for the first time. This was a mildly annoying boss to fight, because he would teleport around the room and hurl earth spells at me. His attacks were not too damaging, and he wasted time disabling my prayers - even though I had enabled no prayers. I slashed and stabbed him to death after several minutes. I brought 26 dusk eels with me, yet I did not eat any of them during the fight.

The hobgoblin dropped a pair of boots.

Before leaving the dungeon, I sold all my food and my fractite armor so I could buy three more zephyrium ores. I smithed a zephyrium plateskirt and added it to my bind pool.

Completing this dungeon also completed a Daily Dungeoneering Challenge. After I had left the dungeon, I redeemed this challenge to reach Dungeoneering level 62.

Before I went to Daemonheim, I used a small celebration lamp to gain Firemaking XP, plus a small burst of XP in my other skills. As a result, I now have Archaeology level 2.

Dear Diary,

This afternoon I used the Skull Sceptre to teleport to the shades on Level 4 of the Stronghold of Security. Upon dispatching shade #12, I reached level 61 in Attack, Defence, and Strength. I went on to defeat 12 more before I teleported to Al Kharid. The shades dropped only one shade robe bottom. I now have 27 robe tops and 20 robe bottoms.

I made my way to the mine, where I mined a full backpack of common gems. I also slew roughly 30 scorpions to complete another Yak Track task - to kill 363 monsters. For this, I was awarded the Jas Neophyte's Sword cosmetic overrides. This will not apply itself to my rune 2h sword. For now, I have chosen to change my weapon's appearance to that of the Anger Maul. It suits me well.

Dear Diary,

This evening I gathered 500 ores at the mines south of Varrock. First I went to the southwest mine. I completed a Daily Mining Challenge as I began mining 100 copper ores. Next I mined 100 tin ores, then 100 mithril ores. While mining 100 iron ores, I reached Mining level 69. With these 400 ores in my rune ore box, I moved on to the southeast mine, where I collected 100 adamantite ores.

I found 57 geodes. From these I received 27 spirit shards, 2 uncut emeralds, an uncut sapphire, an uncut ruby, and an uncut diamond. The rest contained common gems, mostly uncut opals. I smashed five of the opals, but I successfully cut the other gems.

Mining the mithril and adamantite ores also advanced my current Yak Track task.
