Dear Diary,

Early this morning I returned to the underground lair of the hill giants. I slaughtered many giants with ease, only leaving after my pack was filled with loot (which included 30 fire runes, 14 water runes, 2 cosmic runes, 3 mind runes, a body talisman, 6 limpwurt roots, 5 beers, 9 iron arrows, 20 steel arrows, an uncut sapphire, an uncut diamond, some grimy guam and tarromin, and several pieces of salvage). The first 25 piles of big bones I buried completed a daily challenge, which I redeemed to get 53 Prayer.

After banking and selling the talisman, limpwurts, beers, iron arrows, and the salvage, I visited the barbarian village, where I challenged their champion in single combat. I defeated him with two strikes. I dispatched several more barbarians before I walked out of the longhall with 11 beers.

I went back to the Grand Exchange and sold the beers. Then I purchased a token to unlock the Flaming Sword Enchantment for 1,533,706gp. I have activated this enchantment with my rune 2h sword equipped. I have observed the enchantment does not show when the sword is sheathed. When the weapon is wielded, the flames look lovely.

Dear Diary,

This evening I completed a daily challenge by catching crayfish in Lumbridge. I redeemed this to reach 50 Fishing. I am now able to harpoon swordfish. I can now also catch web snippers in Daemonheim.

After reset, I took all 28 raw tuna I had in my bank and cooked them in the kitchen of Lumbridge Castle, burning 6 of them in the process. I banked everything, caught some more crayfish, and cooked a total of 50 crayfish. With four to go, I reached 49 Cooking. After I had cooked the first three crayfish, I had completed another daily challenge.

Tonight I also purchased another 800 runecoins. I spent 840 RC on four more bank boosters, so I now have a capacity of 470 bank slots plus 500 slots for member items. This should provide me with sufficient space to store whatever treasures I will discover when I train Archaeology. I have been looking forward to this.

I also purchased the Firebrand Bow cosmetic override for 88 RC and, in honor of reaching the level 50 Fishing milestone, I unlocked Arcane Fishing for 109 RC. This leaves me with a current balance of 143 runecoins.

Dear Diary,

This evening I mined a total of 30 gold ores in Al Kharid. After smelting the ores into gold bars, I crafted 30 gold amulets. After casting Low Alchemy on 6 of these amulets, I was 1 XP from gaining a level. The next amulet I alched got me to 50 Magic. I went on to alch the remaining 23 gold amulets.

Then I completed a daily challenge by making 150 steel arrows. Redeeming this raised my Fletching to level 45. I can now fashion mithril arrows.

Dear Diary,

This evening I returned to the Runespan, where I completed a Daily Runecrafting Challenge. Redeeming this got me Runecrafting level 51. I continued to siphon more runes until after I had attained Runecrafting level 52. Now I can craft 3 earth runes per essence.

I then teleported to Lumbridge, where I chopped a full inventory of willow logs. I burned one and banked the rest before teleporting to Al Kharid.

I headed north with two goals - to find an uncut ruby and to mine some gold ore. First I mined an uncommon gem rock. I got an uncut sapphire then an uncut ruby. Next I mined 26 gold ores. I slew several scorpions before teleporting back to Lumbridge.

I cut the gems and smelted the ores into gold bars. Next I crafted 25 gold amulets and a ruby amulet. I low-alched the gold amulets, then went north to shear a sheep. I took the wool to Lumbridge Castle, where I crafted a ball of wool and strung my ruby amulet. I climbed up to the bank, where I took out my Staff of Fire and a cosmic rune. I equipped the staff and enchanted the ruby amulet to create an Amulet of Strength. This completed the Building Up Strength achievement, which is one of the seven Hard Lumbridge area tasks needed to be done to claim the Explorer's Ring 4. I have three more Hard tasks and one Medium task (start Dragon Slayer) to complete. Then all the Lumbridge tasks will be done.

I equipped my new Amulet of Strength and my rune 2h sword +3 and banked my Amulet of Defence and the Staff of Fire. My armor rating is now a little lower, but my Strength bonus has increased by 10. I believe the best defense is a strong offense.

Dear Diary,

This evening I was at The Grand Exchange when I saw a message regarding a goblin raid taking place west of Varrock. I ran to the woods north of the southwest mine, but unfortunately I only managed to kill two of the raiders before the rest of the goblins fled. They dropped a variety of logs, and Yodri rewarded me with 34 noted willow logs and 6 noted yew logs. I banked all the logs and grabbed my Skull Sceptre.

I used the Skull Sceptre to teleport to the shades on Level 4 of the Stronghold of Security. I immediately used the portal to transport to the nearby ankou and ghosts for a while. In addition to coins, the ankou dropped 100 adamant arrows, 6 noted yew logs, 5 noted pieces of mystic cloth, 20 death runes, an uncut emerald, 2 mithril stone spirits, four medium pieces of bladed mithril salvage, and a medium piece of plated mithril salvage. I sold the stone spirits and the salvage but I banked the rest.

I still have yet to receive the Cremation ability as a drop from the ghosts.
