@Everyone,

What are your thoughts on the lack of a Halloween event this year in RS3? I'm extremely disappointed... not sadly not surprised. Jagex always seems to be at odds with the community on the importance of holiday events. Personally, Halloween & Christmas are my favourite.

After getting nothing this year, last year's Halloween event comes across as amazing! :P

Hey man its fine, at times i am in the same boat. but thats cause i took a 3 year hiatus cause of RL. Now I am back working on the final Miniquests and then working on getting the skills for the Master Quest Cape . Which I have planned for my First Mastery Cape

I wish they viewed holiday events as an opportunity to really let their creativity run wild. They should be a real opportunity for the team to have fun with it and just go for it without having to consider too much the long term impacts on the game since they're only around for a few weeks, and the rewards are usually cosmetic and quirky. There's all sorts of characters and storylines etc they could use up.

Realistically though they're more likely to take those sorts of ideas and put them into holiday themed treaure hunter items. The lack of events at this time is just a brief lull that they're using so as not to introduce them immediately incase of backlash (the whole issue regarding separate teams and content for the game and treasure hunter updates).

Welcome back Shenz!! Definitely understand the RL thing.

Nice to see that you have a goal in mind, what are you focusing on first for the MQC?

Personally, my goals at the moment are 120 farming & herblore - after that will be 120 Archaeology. 120s in general have been my goal because I can mult-task - but I'm hoping to go more for something just as Comp or MQC after the next new skill.

Nice to hear from you Collin - all is well!

Now that the Christmas event is out I'm feeling the same as I did with Halloween! At least we got something, but finding a new present everyday isn't what I was expecting.

Last year we got Yeti Town, I don't know why they didn't just expand on that! :(
