Well, I did it!

In spite of having to deal with the lag spikes and game crashes/freezes, which seem to be getting worse each day, tonight I managed to stay in-game long enough to finish the Daily Construction Challenge I began on Sunday, which in turn completed Dailyscape.

My RuneScore is now 2,360.

My POH now has curtains for the windows on the north, south, and east walls of my parlour, with oak decorations along the west wall near the kitchen. This advanced the challenge to 3/5.

I then stepped outside and planted two small plants in the garden space directly in front of the main doors. Challenge completed!

So now I have no further additions to make to my house, aside from adding more plants and trees to my garden spaces. I could tear down some furniture and rebuild it, but I have no interest in doing that - at least not unless Jagex does decide to raise the F2P cap on Construction to level 20. We'll see if that rumor actually becomes reality. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

My Christmas songs are progressing well. Halfway there now! With a few more on my mind maybe.

200m Invention happened thanks to Archaeology and lately, Fishing. Strangely, I negated to augment my Archaeology tools until after 120 Archaeology. Oh well. That's three 200m skills this year... I'm not quite sure what's going on with me! Hopefully, I'll achieve the virtual level of 120 Fishing by the end of the year, as well as 2b total experience!

Late this afternoon, I gained 15,449 XP from the medium smouldering lamp I received as part of today's Advent present. This was more than I needed to reach Ranged level 87!

Knight Before Christmas Yak Track update:

Oh yay. ANOTHER bloody Yak Track. Ewww.

Actually, this one doesn't seem to be as bad as previous ones, at least so far.

This afternoon, I completed Task #1 by finding the 5 presents scattered around Varrock, Lumbridge, Rimmington, and Draynor. This Present Hunt was pretty simple and it was fun...something the Yak Track hasn't been for a while. The other option would have been to Skill And Kill 10 times. I earned the Permafrost Knight cosmetic overrides.

I then more than completed Task #2 by mining 100 luminite and 100 runite ores. I only needed to mine 175 ores (coal or better). Cooking was the other option. I earned the Permafrost Sword cosmetic override.

Now I am on Task #3. I can either catch 120 fish (salmon or better) or kill 447 monsters. I am planning a trip to Karamja to do some fishing.

I am also collecting quite a bit of Christmas cracker paper in my currency pouch. I should help to build a cracker at the G.E. before I go fishing. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

An update on my POH:

On Monday night, I completed and redeemed a Construction Daily Challenge. I also completed and redeemed one last Monday.

Both times, I completed the challenge by planting four plants and a dead tree within one of the three garden spaces in front of my house - the one with the portal directly in front of the main doors leading to the parlour, plus the ones directly east and west of the portal. I now have one dead tree in the garden spaces east and west of the portal.

Too bad I can't decorate my plants and trees for Christmas. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
