I am now the owner of my very own house in Rimmington!
My house has a basic garden (with the POH portal), a parlour, and a kitchen. The parlour contains three crude wooden chairs, two wooden bookcases, and a clay fireplace. My garden has no plants or trees, and my kitchen is an empty room. I have no curtains or rugs yet.
It may not be much, but it's home. At least my POH has more potential than the room I used to stay in above the Varrock General Store.
Congrats on the new house, Aslon!
Yea, I remember when the four of us used to hold clan meetings in that room above the general store in Varrock. Seems like a lifetime ago. Good times!

Oh, and building the furniture for my new parlour completed a Daily Construction Challenge. I am currently 5/10 towards completing Dailyscape.
This time, I don't intend to miss out on turning in a challenge by a minute!
Knowing you as well as I do, there's no way I'd bet against you, old friend.
By the way, I just got the Dailyscape achievement myself this past Tuesday!

Nice progress!
By the way can the Dailyscape Challenge be done even if say you have 1 task in the day e.g. You have maxed stats and mark off every skill except 1?
Thank you Gorjonkoth!
Yes, Daily Challenges can still be done in skills you have maxed. However, you do have the option to no longer receive challenges in skills you have maxed, if you choose to toggle them off. This is done by speaking with Challenge Mistress Fara in Burthorpe. You can ask her to exclude none, some, or all your maxed skills from your Daily Challenges list as you wish. For F2P, an Archaeology level of 20 and any other P2P skill at level 5 (aside from Invention) qualifies as maxed. Therefore, as long as you've reached all the level caps for F2P in P2P skills, you could opt to only receive challenges in F2P skills. If you have maxed some of your F2P skills, you can exclude them too.
If you have only 5 skills toggled to receive Daily Challenges in, you can effectively choose which skill will come up next in your list by completing and redeeming that skill's task off your list, since you cannot have the same skill active in more than one current challenge at any one time. If you have excluded every maxed skill except one, you will only receive challenges in that skill. However, you will not receive a new challenge until after you've redeemed your current completed challenge. In such a case, I believe you wouldn't be given a new challenge until after the next game reset.
Thanks for the question!

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving on that side of the pond, and that you have a good weekend.
Thank you, Trewavas! I did have a nice Thanksgiving. There were several smaller gatherings instead of the 18 to 20 or so we'd normally have all together. We'll see how Christmas goes.
The weekend has been mostly quiet. I was getting some horrible lag spikes in RS a little earlier tonight. Unfortunately, the Normal Modes still are ugly, unplayable messes, so the only option still is Super Laggy Mode.
In spite of that, I'm good thanks. I hope your weekend went well.

Ah yes, the clan meetings. The four of us getting together and comparing notes about what we had discovered, what we had done, what we planned to do next...good times indeed! Were we ever that young - that new to this world? I suppose we must have been.
Speaking of nostalgia, Trewavas has a great thread going over at General on the topic of RS memories. You should check that out when you get a chance.

Thanks! As always, I appreciate your support.
Congrats on getting the Dailyscape achievement out of the way. I am close to getting this one myself. I logged in shortly after reset on Sunday night, and I saw my new Daily Challenge was Woodcutting. I redeemed that one. I am now 9/10 to completing Dailyscape.
As long as I can play Monday night or on Tuesday, assuming RS does not crash, I will make it!

On Saturday afternoon, I decided to add a brown rug to my parlour, and a cat blanket to my otherwise empty kitchen. Then, wouldn't you know it, after the reset on Saturday night I received Construction as my new Daily Challenge!
Sunday afternoon I redeemed a Combat Challenge to advance to 8/10 towards Dailyscape. Then I withdrew some materials from the bank - a steel bar, 2 pieces of soft clay, and 5 limestone bricks - and brought them to my house, which I entered in Build Mode.
I constructed a firepit for my kitchen. Then I went to the garden space directly east of my parlour, where I created a decorative rock. I stopped there, leaving my current Daily Construction Challenge at 2/5. I will probably complete this challenge Monday night or on Tuesday before game reset (7pm my time) to complete Dailyscape.
My house has no curtains yet, and my garden spaces have no plants or trees, so I still have some options for finishing the Construction Challenge.
As long as the game is still playable after Monday's update, victory will be mine!
What could possibly go wr...? Never mind. Forget I ever asked!
