I have completed Task #25 by killing 1,342 monsters.
I began by killing scorpions at the mine north of Al Kharid. Then I retrieved my Skull Sceptre from the bank, and used it to teleport to the Pit Of Pestilence (level 3 of the Stronghold Of Security), where I killed spiders and scorpions. After leaving the next day to complete my daily tasks, I returned to level 3 of the Stronghold and killed more spiders. On the way to kill the scorps on this level, I accidentally killed a catablepon and received a sceptre top.
Rather than have my slayer log totals for the four sceptre pieces be unequal, I teleported to level 2 (the Catacomb Of Famine), where I had to kill many, many flesh crawlers before finally getting a sceptre bottom. I joined the two sceptre halves to make a Runed Sceptre. I banked this at the G.E. and sold my other loot before teleporting to level 4 (the Sepulchre Of Death), where I had to dispatch a lot of ankous before one dropped a left skull half. My pack was full, and I was injured, so I teleported to the surface and ran to the G.E. to bank some items, sell some salvage, and to heal. Next, I teleported to level 1 (the Vault Of War). I only had to kill 8 minotaurs until I got a right skull half. I made a Strange Skull, teleported out, sold some bronze salvage, and banked the skull and my Skull Sceptre.
I checked the task list at this point. I had killed 1,282/1,342 monsters. I had exactly 60 more to kill. So I visited the scorps in the Dwarven Mine. 60 dead scorpions/king scorpions later, I was done with this task!
I used my new Purified Swords overrides during this entire task. They are nice, however I miss my Firestorm Blades. I'll resume using those next time I'm in-game.

For Task #26, I can either craft 465 pieces of blue dragonhide armor or Skill and Kill 60 times. I reckon the Skill and Kill option should work well with the Halloween event, which starts tomorrow. Perfect timing!

This afternoon, I finished getting all the rewards from the 2020 Halloween event. It wasn't that tough, considering I already had everything unlocked, except for Lucien's Staff (500 Spooky Tokens) and Death's Scythe (4,000 Spooky Tokens). My list of pets on page 11 has been updated to include Muncher - my 49th pet. What (or who) will be pet #50?
I completed 3 of the 4 miniquests Monday afternoon, then finished Famine's miniquest last night. Afterwards, I dug up some bones for Muncher, harvested a small amount of potatoes for Famine, and made a lot of soup for Pestilence. I finished the event as I began it, by helping fragmented souls. I earned a total of 4,506 Spooky Tokens. Now I have 6.
I don't know if I'll bother to earn more tokens to spend on XP lamps or not.
