The Mining and Smithing pets continue to avoid me, but that's RNG for you. I only have one skill pet, Woody.

I more than completed Task #17 after chopping 18 full inventories of yew logs, for 504/495 logs. That took longer than it should have, but I find chopping trees tedious. Also, the rewards for this current Yak Track are pretty lackluster. I'm just not motivated to push through it.

For Task #18, I can either mine 280 luminite/runite ores or craft/siphon 550 body runes.

I finished Task #18 by mining 140 luminite and 140 runite ores.

Task #19 is a choice between stringing 1,500 bows or burying 1,000 bones.

Well...I wanted a reason to train Prayer. Be careful what you wish for!

Sometimes, this Travelling Artisan event just makes no sense at all!

I've gotten Ulric to level 12, which unlocked the recipe for the Bastion Of Fortitude Platelegs. To craft this cosmetic override, Ulric requires:

300 Travelling Artisan Patches
30 rubies
100 bronze bars
300 logs
400 salmon O_o

The rest I could excuse - but what the falador does Ulric need 400 cooked salmon for? Are these platelegs to be crafted from bronze and wood, then encrusted with rubies and cooked fish? Does crafting platelegs really make him that hungry?

This is obviously an attempt to involve skills and items in this event where they have no logical reason to be included.

Something is certainly fishy here.

I bought 1,000 big bones on The Grand Exchange, and I have begun to bury them in front of the bank chest in Lumbridge Market, for Kerapac Track Task #19.

When I started this task, I was 4020 XP away from the next Prayer level. As I buried 268/1,000 big bones, I gained exactly enough XP to reach Prayer level 85!

My Total Level is 1584 (Virtual Level 1587).

All my F2P skills are now level 85 or higher. Prayer is currently in a four-way tie for my lowest F2P skill, along with Crafting, Dungeoneering, and Woodcutting. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

For Task #20, I can either craft/siphon 765 body runes or kill 1,119 monsters.

Before heading off to the Runespan, I decided to finish up my current project with Ulric.

I brought him 25 bear furs, donated by black bears I killed near the Chaos Temple, along with 150 willow logs I chopped south of Varrock. These were the last two ingredients Ulric needed to craft the Scoop pet for me, so I now have 46 pets. My list of pets has been updated.

Ok, NOW I'm off to the Runespan!

I more than completed Task #20 after siphoning 572 body runes (400 points worth) in the Runespan, then making three runs to the body altar in Edgeville, where I crafted exactly 200 runes. In total, I made 772/765 body runes.

I was awarded the D3RPY pet - my 47th pet. My pet list on page 11 has again been updated.

For Task #21, I can either craft 420 green dragonhide shields/blue dragonhide armor pieces or Skill and Kill 20 times.

I should be able to complete the Skill and Kill option for this task easily while working on my daily tasks, as well as doing more projects with Ulric, who has reached level 15. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

As I expected, I easily completed Task #21 by Skilling and Killing 20 times. After using up all my daily spells on the Explorer's ring 4 and mining a full inventory of gold ore, then smelting the one remaining ore before crafting all 28 gold bars into gold amulets. Next, I completed a Slayer task to kill 32 goblins. The drops included a Goblin Book and three sets of Goblin Mail. Finally, I returned to the mine north of Al Kharid, where I killed a few scorpions before mining the precious gem rocks in the resource dungeon. That's where I was when I was notified I had just completed my current Yak Track Task.

Task #22 is a choice between catching 200 swordfish or chopping 365 yew logs. At first glance, it might appear the Fishing task would be less of a grind - until you take into account roughly half the fish caught would be swordfish, with the other half being tuna, so I'd need to catch around 400 fish.

Time to chop more yews in Edgeville. Ugh...didn't I just do this 5 tasks ago? Yes, I did. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

True. You know me so well! A Rainbow Halo would kinda clash with my Goth Jacket/Cabaret Legs outfit I'm currently wearing.
