really always the first to reply, and to complain, no matter what. they cant just add huge updates every week. thats just not doable

Idk where you got the idea that huge updates are to be expected every week; the problem is that there isn't even a small content addition almost every week. Patches and new content are both needed for a successful game update.


No, they just aren't. This is an unfortunate expectation that's developed over the years from the playerbase, that Jagex has unwisely and too often tried to meet. In the past, content was more irregular, but generally quality. Quantity doesn't cut it, when it's not all that good.

I think the general negative attitude towards 'no-update' weeks is made worse by the fact that the last year and more has been so lousy in many people's opinion (mine included). However, don't conflate this legitimate gripe with 'every week needs content'.

Quite happy with the patches this week. Anyway, most of us aren't going to be paying attention to any new content when the end of the week is going to be dedicated to bxp. Let's have an update when it will be quality, and impactful.


A guess three bxp weekends per year are overkill, but otherwise I could fully agree with you: They certainly haven't repeated that july/august and november crap from last year yet - and we'll get an elite dungeon alongside improvements to the current ones next week.

Jagex doesn't fail to try to appease and cater to griefers. Nobody goes to the wildy but for penguins, bloodtrees (not even often) and to abuse warbands, ofc no matter what they do the wilderness will never be revived, most items are too expensive to gamble no matter the PROFIT. It would be better to just add always lost on death within the wilderness but the tiniest group in gielinor always comes first OFC.

No fix to the store prices, just turn all the items into a pre-made versions, so all the experience from smithing comes from smithing.

No fix to the ports interface, it looks terrible.

No skilling sets in th for months, not even good TH promotions just lamps in 20 different shapes and colors.

Solomon has no new costumes nor are you bringing back deals with retired ones. The update was a pretty lackluster patch (except for the geodes).

Smh, it's really hard and expensive to make one, I was finally getting one today as an ironman after getting the required invention level (with extreme invention boost) and I am at 110/120 powerful components.
Risking it in wildy isn't even worth it and I would rather just get luminous or incandescent energies with a skilling outfit outfit, because you also don't want to risk that in wildy. Getting energy as an ironman is really hard and it takes me like 2 hours to get energy for 5 hours of combat.


See it as an advantage - you could also use gote and lotd for seren spirits and clue scrolls in there, since you wouldn't have used either in the wilderness as well.

But all in all - another failed wilderness update. This place can't ever be fixed, unless they remove pvp as is entirely or restrict it to specific worlds - preferably the latter though. As it stands every single second of development time dedicated to it just is wasted - even if players would want to use a result griefers find a way to destroy it eventually.

I can't wait to hear you say that ED3 is going to be dead content by the time it comes out next week. They can't update the game with new content every week because it takes time to test it to make sure it all goes well before being put into the live game. I'm grateful they are patching what is broken that needed to be fixed. Sure there's a lot that still needs to be fixed, but they can only do so much at a time.
