Thanks for the patches, disappointed that there's no actual game update this week though. :(

really always the first to reply, and to complain, no matter what. they cant just add huge updates every week. thats just not doable

Idk where you got the idea that huge updates are to be expected every week; the problem is that there isn't even a small content addition almost every week. Patches and new content are both needed for a successful game update.

So you agree with him. :P

That's not what he said at all, but okay.

The Divine-o-matic vacuum is now always lost on death.

Other than catering to griefers, what was the point of this change?

That was a terrible idea. I dont know what the point of even changing it was.

To actually maintain risk when gathering Cursed Energy...?

They need to make cursed wisps p2p only now.
I need my blue charms back.

Smh, it's really hard and expensive to make one, I was finally getting one today as an ironman after getting the required invention level (with extreme invention boost) and I am at 110/120 powerful components.
Risking it in wildy isn't even worth it and I would rather just get luminous or incandescent energies with a skilling outfit outfit, because you also don't want to risk that in wildy. Getting energy as an ironman is really hard and it takes me like 2 hours to get energy for 5 hours of combat.

No, they just aren't. This is an unfortunate expectation that's developed over the years from the playerbase, that Jagex has unwisely and too often tried to meet. In the past, content was more irregular, but generally quality. Quantity doesn't cut it, when it's not all that good.

I think the general negative attitude towards 'no-update' weeks is made worse by the fact that the last year and more has been so lousy in many people's opinion (mine included). However, don't conflate this legitimate gripe with 'every week needs content'.

Quite happy with the patches this week. Anyway, most of us aren't going to be paying attention to any new content when the end of the week is going to be dedicated to bxp. Let's have an update when it will be quality, and impactful.

I mean in all fairness the update was pretty underwhelming this week.

These patches are useless. Thought we were getting firemaking improvements this week? Only useful thing this week is downgrading multiple clues at once.

Blocking geodes is nice; the sedimentary ones were eating up my insignia charge. Otherwise yeah, there's plenty of stuff that should've been fixed soon but hasn't.
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

Div-o-matic being kept on death with all full and empty charges was OP. Losing it on death is swinging too far in the other direction. Do we even know what a PKer gets for it? As it stands, I doubt anyone will use it at cursed now, meaning there are even less people in the wild.

I think a good compromise is loosing all empty/full charges if you die with the div-o-matic and it is protected. If it is not protected, then you lose the actual vacuum too.

Keep sticking them with the pointy end Blackwing! No risk dom use in wildy was obscenely unfair to pkers, and i played there an awful lot with it, however the previous cursed energy updates and dom update make cursed energy far too difficult to bother gathering now, jagex destroyed a healthy pk culture there previously, and now deter/destroy anyone wanting to play there..........all bad news for wildy skillers and killers
