Had the same issue, and after some panicking and frustration that there is not a service to talk directly to Jagex, I closed everything out and it corrected itself when I reloaded. I have an active membership that is on autopay so my membership being paid is not the issue. If this is affecting a lot of people, which it clearly is, a lot of people are going to be angry. Unacceptable to not have any other explanation of why it happened or option to move to a free area if the membership is the actual problem. Not happy Jagex as I have worked hard on my account and spend money on this every single month.
I'm having the same problem a second time. No one helped me the first time, and after a week it finally worked itself out, no thanks to anyone from the Jagex team. My account sould be on auto renewal also. Not helping your paying customers is very very unsatisfactory to say the least. Am I to fight this battle everytime my membership expires???
Bought a new phone and with my new phone I'm standing in a members area. This is the second time this has happened to me me and it has nothing to do with me not being a member. I'm absolutely a member. Flag my account, fix it. I'm tired of dealing with this stupid issue.
I have been receiving this same message when trying to log in on my iPhone8 and my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I am able to log in on my laptop, though. So, it isn't a membership issue or a specific platform issue (happens on Android and Apple, but not on Windows). Please flag my account to have it fixed. It has to be on Jagex side. I am a paying member with auto-renewal.

Normally when my bond ends i will find my self in lumbridge in f2p world... what changed?? why it wont work anymore? No it just tells me "You are standing in a members only area. To play on this world move to a free are first"....

Having this issue myself. Paid member and mobile won't let me login due to this error. Doesn't matter if I change worlds, close the app, etc.. it just doesn't work. Works fine on my PC. Its really frustrating having no real way to contact Jagex with issues.
Update: Nvm I resolved it.

Same problem over 24hours now please tele me back to lumb . account name same as the name here never ming got one day free so i was able to put my acc to lumb
