Ahh I see. :) Most players are already part of established clans however, so to leave them in order to take part in a "dead clan chat" system might not seem so appealing to most.

(GWD 2 Mass Competition)

Date: 29th December 2016
Time: 4pm-5pm
World: 68
Location: The Heart

Brief description: I will be having a host for each GWD 2 boss ready before the event starts to invite people to their group. People should expect to join the fc requesting an invite to a group for their chosen boss, either: Vindicta, Helwyr, Gregorovic or Twin Furies. Once the event time begins, the instance will be created and the hour shall begin. The reason why we include the word "competition" is because it's about seeing who gets the most broadcasted drops. The winning team will be crowned after the hour and everyone should have a splendid time. I will also be consulting a variety of regulars in the friend's chat so that they will be able to back-up host, or act as a deputy for one of the groups, to ensure that all groups will be running at the said time. If players cannot get into the fc, because it is full, they should still go to their chosen boss before the event starts as each group can manage 50, a total of 200 players. So we will be able to take more in this way.

The likely hosts will be:

1) Vindicta - RSN: Coca Colin (Backup: houmousguru)
2) Gregorovic - RSN: Gow Adam (Backup: Lucky Liam)
3) Helwyr - RSN: Joffy (Backup: Allen Haff)
4) Twin Furies - RSN: Grahamman95 (Backup:The Red Lex)

I will update this post in the week to ensure it is clear who back-up hosts are and to showcase any changes in the above structure. That sounds like a good idea, Adam. I'll raise this with some of the others and see if there'd be interest in a mass event. :)

If there's a mass on the day of release, I imagine that there'll be a ton of dying haha, could be fun. It'd be a sea of carnage just like Mod Lee's KK events!

I think so too, but we need a few people making groups for people. My advise is 10 tankers 40 dps to a team. But a few people need to stand outside the new boss encounter where everyone else is grouping waiting to find teams. Then you say "request invite for Team x". Then type all the easy names with a manual invite until the group is full at 50, toggle lootshare and assign someone leader for that teams. Then leave that team wish them good luck and continue the process, until everyone is accommodated with a team. Also using world 68 to encourage the use of it as the hub world for bossing and finding teams in a similar fashion to this, hopefully would get it regularly full and mean any boss you go to would have people standing outside in a similar fashion waiting to be in a team. That's okay, the pmods are good here. But ideally post 10 days before you will host your event. It gives them time to help put it on calendar for you and the game clock if you join event with a pmod from the pink skirts. Well i am intrested to join events with Pmods but how does that go? I am pretty new to events but i am able to help :) FC Portables | CC The enduring.
