You can get the billing receipts on the email but they can't deliver Jagex account related emails to that same address? That seems like an error to me. You were having an email dialogue and they said you must fill out the form that never arrives?

The fact you know they sent the email should be proof of your intention to regain access.


So my original jagex account that has all my accounts is glitched in some way and can't log in on the game because I literally can't get the emails for verification codes or password resets, thinking the system is broken I made a 2nd jag account just to check everything is working and it is

Asked jagex to help fix when they can't do that I asked them transfer my account to my other jag so I cam regain access this was the point they stopped talking to me and haven't responded to any of my emails after the point where I asked them to transfer my account they don't seem to care

I definitely saw on Twitter they said character accounts can be transferred through customer support.

But then it goes back to the original point, I'm pretty sure you said it was all working fine and then you just stopped getting verification mails.

From their POV I don't understand what has happened, what they can see, or what their opinion of that is.

But I am assuming there is some record of the activity, and it would presumably match the situation.

I have no idea what the email contact was like, but did you refer them to this thread? I think it would be useful to match your intentions with the results.

Yep sent them the qfc to this thread, told them on god knows how many occasions I'm not getting the emails while they send me all these links that direct me back to logging in or recovering my account which comes up as an invalid email if using a jagex account and all their steps and guides on troubleshooting the email none of which has worked

Told them about my other jagex account and can you transfer this character to my other account they haven't replied back to that email or any email sent after asking them to do that my last email from jagex support was a week ago I've since sent 10 emails and tried all the recovery options on a daily basis, I think I sent myself 20 password recovery requests 2 days ago in quick succession trying to get just 1 to come back and nothing, jagex frankly doesn't care and refuses to talk to me, the emails I have had I don't think they read my emails properly because at 1 point I got the exact same email word for word twice after telling them that's not the issue and explaining it again

I've come to the conclusion I've lost all my accounts and have been forced to leave the game when I've got 2 120's less then a few days away and 2bil achievable any moment now, I would love to get them master capes and hit 2bil I just simply can't log in and noone at jagex seems to care

You don't know how frustrating it is for a 16 year old completionist with 8 120s almost 10 and coming upto 2bil xp, no offences, known to jagex from my time on the forums and when an issue comes up with my account for the first time and it's over their new jag account suddenly they no longer care and just left me in silence

I want it to be clear I am not complaining, only observing. I spent several hours looking through twitter for players asking for support. What I saw was surprising, after all I had heard about it on the forum.

I found instances where players said they lost everything and needed help with their accounts. They are sent to lost item reclaim?

I saw players with similar issues to this and they were referred to the forum!

In most cases there were plenty of trolls taking advantage of the situation. It's all a little disturbing TBH.

One thing keeps bothering me about this, I assume it applies to your account. After they changed the login a couple months back I got my login details crossed and I actually got in, to an account with no name. Some sort of blank placeholder.

I'm guessing it is for registration purposes, and that makes me wonder if there is some sort of conflict where the system believes players are still trying to interact with that placeholder. Assuming that's what it is, I have no idea at all. I saw it and bailed immediately. I don't even want to try it again.

But I'm definitely curious what happens to it after linking to a Jagex account.

At the end of the day there's literally nothing I can do that I'm not already doing but still can't log in, I'm only able to speak on the forums on one specific character via a linked account i can't go in game as I can't log into my jag account

Fully regret transferring over at the time I thought this new ultra secure and strong system would be watertight and there won't be any room for errors with it literally taking over all your accounts, bad bad bad mistake now I'm essentially kicked out of the game.

Jagex sent me to lost account doesn't work but this is part of what they told me

"What this means is, as far as our systems and generating these emails are concerned, if you can receive the email to confirm your access to the account you can also receive the emails for a password reset."

Pretty cut and dry you got the emails before so you can get them again ain't our problem

update: Jagex got back in touch got locked out for a few days but they managed to fix the problem, I can once again receive emails, I have set up authenticator now and wrote down my backup codes so I'm not reliant on receiving an email to log in as I don't want to be dealing with all of this again

turns out a few days prior to the silence i sent one of their verification emails to spam, was meant to delete it as i was cleaning my inbox, this returned a flagged email to jagex freezing all emails as potential spam, couple of days later the emails stopped and didn't think sending a jagex email to my spam folder would stop all emails, This has now been rectified so be careful when removing emails from your inbox, if one gets marked as spam all emails could cease and you will have alot of trouble getting them again, If you do tell them what you did so they can fix it,

This could be the cause for a few people its easy to do and accidents happen while theres butterflys in your head dreaming of that master comp cape. Im going to request for this thread to be locked now

but some tips for anyone that might be browsing and find this thread
- Don't send any emails to spam ever
- If you do tell jagex support immediately
- Use Authenticator so your not reliant on emails
- Make notes of those backup codes if you lose them its game over, I've saved it to a usb and printed them out
