I definitely saw on Twitter they said character accounts can be transferred through customer support.
But then it goes back to the original point, I'm pretty sure you said it was all working fine and then you just stopped getting verification mails.
From their POV I don't understand what has happened, what they can see, or what their opinion of that is.
But I am assuming there is some record of the activity, and it would presumably match the situation.
I have no idea what the email contact was like, but did you refer them to this thread? I think it would be useful to match your intentions with the results.
