I have updated my comment again on Page-12. It's been a stressful day at the college this week. I overlooked the 50% negated damage = prayer drain.
This reworked Divine Spirit Shield is a fair compromise if player are unhappy with the original release. The prayer drain removal is fair after taking 10% of the damage absorption out. I will be voting for the original personally.
I really don't want to see the normal spirit shields floating around the game. They replaced a lot of shields and other off-hand items. Make it so you can't wield the normal spirit shields or something.
Everything stated here is forwarded from a major corporation. Nothing here is my opinion. Enjoy your salad.

Can't wait, I'm voting yes. But imo shields are so much better than dfs and 70 def shields they should be raised to 85 def requirement.
I agree/disagree. 85 is too high and so is 80. They also have a prayer bonus! Looking at only the defence bonuses of Spirit Shields, we can conclude they most closely resemble a charged Dragonfire Shield. Thus, a 75 defence bonus is fair, after factoring in the prayer bonus as well (which I believe is 70.)
75 Defence + 70 Prayer - Would be a more fitting spot.
That way we can work on adding new and more suitable 80+ equipment. I am okay with them at 70 though. I honestly don't care, it doesn't effect me.
I'd like to point out that elysian and divine serve to prolong trips and that if one wants to get kills in FFA they would stick with defender, odium, or arcane for off-hand.

Very nice and stuff but its obviously not gonna pass with this community. :/
I've been assured that the polling system will be addressed. I am writing a very elaborate thread in the meantime. It will provide the moderator I have been talking to with facts, research, the problem, the solution and the supporters.
Hopefully then he and other members of the staff can appreciate it. The last time I wrote a suggestion thread, it was the most supported thread 1 hours after posting. I do not give suggestions lightly.

I dont know if i'm the only one, but if these are to come into old school, we'd need some kind of lootshare option.. Because these items are too expensive to trust most people with. If they are added like this, so many people are going to get screwed out of their share.
Introduce the shard system like RS3 has. Unique drops will be split into 128 or so shards among the team and putting together the shards will make the item. Alternatively players can just sell the shards.
