Why not, instead of the blessed shield, Make the sigils attach to the existing wards?


I have preached it far too many times. The player base needs to stop worrying and basing all of their decisions off of "what might impact outdated content." The game needs a future, not a past. The wilderness shields are still a great and much cheaper alternative. They are also ugly, keep my sigil away from your wards. :)

The way divine's prayer drain works is it drains 50% of the 'absorbed' damage (not 50% of the hit).

For example, with divine's default effect: hit a 40 on divine results in a hit of 28. The damage was reduced by 12. - It is 50% of this 12 that is removed from prayer, so only 6 is removed.

Because of the way prayer drain works, it would already be reduced because of the damage reducing effect being reduced to 20%
. In this same scenario, hit a 40 on divine results in a hit of 32. The damage was reduced by 8. - 50% of this is 4, so prayer would be reduced by 4.

The prayer drain effect didn't ever make a huge difference, which is why I would suggest either leaving it as is or possibly even increasing it.

Very unique spending so much time copying a boss from the main game instead of making content unique to Old School. After people get bored of Corp I wonder what boss from the main game you'll import as well, and tell us the boss is hard so it needs to drop powerful items. Bring on the power creep.

You had a 1 in 65,536 chance of landing on the Sigil Drop table. The Sigil drop table took a random number between 0-7 (8 numbers as 0 counts as a number) and decided what to give you.

In order of the most common to rarest;

Spectral
Arcane
Elysian
Divine

Weren't Elysians the rarest? Divines being behind it due to Jagex (back then) assuming that Elysian would be superior/preferred by the players.

Nope, Divine was marginally rarer.

With 8 numbers, how do you make divine marginally rarer than elysian?

Unless you just meant that were less divines in game which is possible.

Because it would already make best mage defence shield in-game - while arcane was the best mage attack shield in-game.
