Regarding Rewards -
Along with the shop I think it would be critical to have content that is a very rare drop that is only attainable as a drop from killing your target.
Why? - This would allow the mods to implement items such as pvp armor and brawlers in a manner that they could not be farmed via the player shop.
Brawlers would benefit the wilderness enormously. If they were adjusted to provide 2x exp in the BH world and 1.5x in any other wilderness it would bolster activity through out the entire wilderness.
Pvp Armors would be great as they provide an ultra rare and desirable loot that also gives pkers some diversified (and expensive) equipment. This could also be a money sink if the weapons and armor can be repaired ONE time after degrading, and upon repair revert to a "corrupt" form.
Some other rewards should be either teleport scrolls (inexpensive) or a new fully unlockable teleport (costly) to wilderness locations such as the resource arena.
Other things we need are item sinks.
Overall i just think it is important to have some drops that are exclusively dropped on death. This prevents farming and provides a little added extra excitement for when you kill a target.
Solely cosmetic rewards is a turn off for me personally. My personal opinion is that it is childish. However if other useful rewards are present in both the shop and as rare death exclusive drops this will be successful.
