This looks much better now. There are a few players who makes absurd statements like 'Jagex doesn't care what we think', the fact that you guys make changes like this proves them wrong. It would be so much easier to just release a target system with nothing else added, yet here we are with a dev blog about a reward system.

Original message details are unavailable.
What we really need you to do is to tell us what you want to see in this shop. So please do post any ideas of what you want to see as well as what you would not like to see on this thread.

Rune Pouch:
Holds elemental runes and degrades after a time. This is needed because magic-especially standard, takes up a significant amount of inventory space making it less viable for PvP.

Toolbag/Utility Belt:
This would only work within the wilderness and has to be equipped as a leg item. It could store hatchets and picks up to rune, box traps, dark bait and fishing equipment. Its primary function would be to save inventory space-which would be of significant use, especially for the black chin area.

Ring of Cinders
Lowers max health and periodically damages the wielder , but has a chance of granting a random 5-15% damage increase to all combat styles. This added damage would appear in the form of a separate, delayed hit. This does not work with special attacks and it only works on a single hit. Lasts for 1-2 hrs of combat, with a high cost.

Prism Scroll
Can be used to block the opponent's next attack. 1 time use.

Rune Aura
Provides a 30% chance to cast combat spells for free when used in bh worlds in the wilderness. Lasts for a hr.

What I don't want to see is new weapons/armor being introduced from this, as that would not really be fair to those that are not interested in pvp. Wilderness only gear could also devalue certain items-making pvp everywhere else even less profitable.
OSRS Mage Tank.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

I'm going to consolidate my concerns/thoughts here...

Okay, first of all, I want to say my greatest concern. The fact that you are trying to make these emblems TRADEABLE greatly concerns me. They should be untradable while remaining transferable (to an extent) when killed with them in the wilderness. When a player is killed with one, it will downgrade an entire tier (meaning killing someone with the lowest tier gains you nothing), and no more than one at a time can be transferred upon death.

This is essential to keep them from becoming farmed/merched, and will prevent them from becoming the next 'uncut onyx' where people gather the currency to buy top end items as a money making process.

**************************************************************

As for the rewards, I feel these are good options:

A
Rune Pouch
to store spells (which degrades, much like RC pouches). It could even be equipable in the ammo slot if that wouldn't be seen as overpowered. It could be repaired for gp or the pking emblems.

A new
Teleport Item
that would randomly teleport you to the more common pking/skilling areas in the wilderness (same teleport restrictions as a glory). This can be recharged with emblems or some runes of some kind.

Some new
Morphing Armour
. Remember stealing creation? Remember the combat items that morphed? Same concept. A tribrid piece of gear, with rune/splitbark/green d'hide stats, depending on its current mode (we could possibly allow the stats of this hybrid gear to be upgraded - by allowing it to consume other pieces of non-degradable gear - the upgraded version wouldn't be tradable, and you couldn't get back the gear it ate (although you could re-upgrade it) it would gain further level requirements depending on the gear it has consumed). Degradable in the same fashion as Barrows gear, with coins or emblems as the repair cost. This is a way to introduce an item sink, without really making one.

Some new
Cosmetic Upgrades
to items such as Barrows sets, various weapons, etc. If desired, these could add a +1 prayer bonus, almost like trimming someone's set of rune into a god variant (not a scam I promise :P ).

Various other
Teleport Scrolls/Tabs
to hard to get to areas that have some type of correlation to pking. Examples are things like, but not limited to, the ancient altar, lunar altar, mage bank, etc.

*************************************************************

One idea I saw, which I really liked, was creating another currency for skillers (they get a small chance of recieving it while skilling in the wild past a certain level, think gems from mining, etc. - would have to balance percentages ofc). I feel this is a brilliant idea, and that the two shops would have separate rewards. These tokens should also not be tradeable. I think that the PvM tokens should probably be grouped in with these also, rather than with the PvP emblems.

The most obvious rewards to me would be things like:

Brawlers
- Let's face it, a lot of people want these, and they'd really attract skillers into the wilderness. You could have the option of buying particular skills, or gamble for a random one at a reduced cost (maybe 2/3 the price or something?)

A
New Weapon Attachment
that boosts damage to NPCs in the wilderness. The attachment itself would always drop on death and crumble to nothing/a small sum of coins.

The
Runecrafting Pouches
would probably be a welcome attraction to skillers, especially since it would be a way for the non-combat pures to get them.

The
Looting Bag
would probably fit in this shop too. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with previous wilerness based items being used in a wilderness shop.

I shall update this further if I think of anything else.

Uhh, don't make the emblems tradable please . PJing after fights will already be bad enough you don't need to encourage it further. Also, can you please look at the PvP weapons and armors again? Morrigan's Javelins and Thrown Axes were actually decent range special weapons... Right now all we have is the Dark Bow and it's lame. Just because they failed as drops from revenants doesn't mean they would fail here. The PvP gear, even if it needed rebalancing, is so perfect for this. I'd like to see a few item sinks incorporated too if possible. Small upgrades for things like Dragon Boots and Saradomin Swords that consume them like tentacle would be good.

Lastly, wealth should be based on all items the player has with them. It seems stupid to have it change by what you've equipped.
Hi Mod Ronan

Will you guys ever consider Bounty Hunter craters?...Best BH there ever existed, and that is not an opinion. You get what you kill, you don't kill your target? 3 minute penalty no raggers in sight for the most part, and no teleporting out of a fight.

What else does the community want? I don't get it. I've been pking on 5+ accounts since 2004 and Bounty Hunter craters has been the best pking experience I have had to this date. I'm sure a lot of people can agree.

i loved the craters but if they add them now they will make it worse.. pvp worlds killed wildy pking.. all 3 together would just ruin it all.. we need one of them

1 BH (((CRATER))) WORLD
1 BH SYSTEM WORLD
1 PVP WORLD
WILDERNESS ON EVERY WORLD

...

Problem avoided, everybody is happy.

how does that avoid the problem? the problem is that more ppl pk in the pvp worlds than in the wilderness. and even pvp worlds has a small amount of people. so adding more pk worlds would make it worse not avoid it

I think the token received for killing your assigned target is a good idea. I would propose the following:

A chance of bronze and silver tokens dropped with varying drop rates whenever you kill anyone in the wilderness, silver being the rarer obviously.

When killing an assigned target, silver would be "almost" guaranteed with a small chance of dropping a gold token.

These could be worth say 1000, 5000, and 25000 pvp pts respectively and exchangeable for untradeable items such as:
Food item that heals 24 hp (cost 2000)
Potion that can be used to lower monster defense 10% (cost 5000)
Teleport method that works through a teleblock below level 30 wilderness (cost 100k)
Helm that increases all damage by 2, alch value of 30k (cost 200k)

I don't feel a token should be upgrade-able or trade-able due to potential of people safing, restocking on supplies, turning down all fights they won't 100% win, etc.

Edit: Also please no multi-kills, and all those other naming titles.
