Let me start by saying in my ten years of Runescape I've never been as involved in the community as I am with Old School and Artisan has great aspects. With that said, I will be voting NO on the skill. I believe many players (including myself) are hesitant to have a new skill brought in prematurely. On one hand I agree that a new skill is important and much needed but on the other hand it should be the only new skill for a long time making it that much more important of a decision. The new skill needs to be more complex, more ground breaking! I really appreciate all the work that has been done to the game so far (roof top agility surpassing all expectations) and want to thank all the input from the community. I would love to see more expansions to skills such as thieving, farming, runecrafting, and construction before a skill ropes them into importance.

I don't think I'm going to vote yes. Seems like a desperate attempt to me. Besides, it will add way too much clutter to the game. Also, hunting kebbits as a task? There's going to be a lot of xp wasting just to gain this new skill I have a feeling... If it keeps getting voted out of the poll then why change and try again? People don't want it.

Yes to everything, but yes ESPECIALLY to the esoteric gear. That +3 runecrafting would be awesome, as long as the set doesn't require 95 runecrafing. I'd also really like to see new areas added for the new methods of training woodcutting, mining, etc: It'd be nice to actually have a reason to go back to any place east of the sawmill (besides barrows and port phasmatys). And to the people who will vote no, think of it this way, what is the worst thing that could happen if it got added? Worst case scenario, a couple people will quit. Best case scenario, we have tons of new content to use our time on. If you don't like what is added, don't do it, if you do like it, do it. It's that simple.

Yeah, until I want to max all skills and cant stand the bullcrap that's called artisan...

Still stunned Jagex has the nerve to think this skill is worth the time of day to consider.

Someone mentioned Jagex's shareholders must be pushing for something like this. Only reason I could think of how any legit game dev would think this is a good addition to OSRS.

I'm kind of neutral on he idea of a new skill, having the Artisan skill added doesn't interest me as I don't want a chore list skill, but adding it won't make me quit. I'm more interested in existing skills being updated.

I'm also waiting for improvements to the trading system. I have been holding off playing Old School until a better trading system is added, so if a better trading system is added I might play OSRS more.

To be specific, I want to be able to post what I have for trade in a searchable database that shows what I am selling, how many, for how much, and if I am online, and in what world, maybe even what town I am in.

You have it right, my friend. Zyb in game. Focus on that.
