As for the whole whether or not level 3 Skiller should be able to use the courses I am kinda torn on that one...

Because it is such high level content it makes sense that it should have high level requirements but at the same time I don't think its a good idea to just give it certain quest requirements for the sake of keeping out level 3 skillers... Priest in Peril for Canafis and Monkey Madness for Ape Atoll makes sense but that's about it on the side of quest requirements.

I also don't like how some of the level 3s on this thread think that the update should be catered towards them simply because it resolves around a non combat skill. If a new skilling method is released and there is a combat or combat quest requirement that makes sense don't complain you can't access it as you choose to limit what quests you can't do.

It's not for the sake of excluding lvl 3s, it's just that high level content should have high level requirements.

This content looks very well thought out and balanced, precisely the kind of thought process I like and would want to see in all major content updates to OSRS.

Agility isn't too popular, and this update looks like it will help a bit to make one of the skills feel less mundane.

You have my support.
Long live the Wilderness. Long live risk vs reward in PVM. Long live 2006.

You're misunderstanding them. They DON'T WANT access to it. Nobody is complaining asking for access to it. They're complaining that without any quest requirements they will be given access to courses that essentially make being a level 3 skiller pointless for Agility. The lure of being a level 3 skiller is the extra challenge and they don't want that taken away like it was in RS3 with the release of the Advanced courses.

I don't agree with the legends requirement. adding restrictions to certain accounts that weren't there when the accounts were created is a stupid idea. the requirements should be monkey madness and/or another slice of ham. Or it should simply be witches house.

and what skillful said about not complaining about a combat quest req for a new skill also makes no sense. You can "make sense" out of so many things, but at the end of the day, this is a video game. For example, we shouldn't be able to swing our weapons if we're at 0% energy. Purposely adding restricting so others can't access for no other reason than "we want it to be selective" is absolutely stupid.

I think the ardougne xp rate needs to be reduced, 62k/h is the same as dorgesh-kaan at high level.

Make it 60k/h so it's still better to do the dorgesh-kaan course.

Nah mate, slightly better is fine. :P

@Celtic, all we're talking about is not changing the status quo. Currently level 3 skillers can do Wilderness course and get roughly in the high 40k's with energies. Most other players can do Dorgesh-Kaan and get in the low 60k's. By just adding new high level courses without quest requirements would boost the Xp rate that level 3 skillers get significantly. To keep it so both types of players only get a small increase in Xp rate, you add quest requirements to the level 80 and 90 courses. We're not talking about some new radical idea here. It's just continuing what already exists instead of letting things get messed up for some people because of a new overpowered update.

Can you sell the clothing back for tokens, like you can Castle Wars armour in-case people want to swap out parts for different activities?

You'll be able to sell the items back to the reward shop to get most of your Marks of Grace back.

will there be a restriction on taking this gear in to entrana ?

No. It has no stats, so it's not considered to be armour.
