First of all, Jagex you are amazing for even considering this. It will most definitely contribute to the future of the game and its community, and hopefully even bring a lot of new players. A have a lot of suggestions, but here are two already. If you want to hear more I'm happy to share of course.

1) A town / city by and specifically dedicated to skillers. Some suggestions for additional details for this town: i) low combat lvl skiller-type NPCs, ii) non-combat area in which the NPCs can not be attacked (or only during a quest?). This creates the idea of a 'skiller safe haven', iii) the town / city should have a wealthy look, as the city knows a long history of resource gathering and trading.

2) Another more extreme idea I had for the new continent concerns some sort of barbarian area. Little villages populate this area. Initially these areas could feature aggressive NPCs, but the player can gain respect in the villages by fighting special NPCs in a public fight for the village. If won, the inhabitants of the village become loyal to you (for a certain amount of time, until you are challenged for another public fight?) and non-aggressive, making it possible to use the facilities of the villages. Even cooler would be if in the mean time you can make these barbarians work for you by letting them for instance smelt ores etc. which can be collected after a certain amount of time. The higher the level of the special NPC that needs to be fought in the 'public' fight, the better the services of the village.

Once again thanks Jagex, even if you don't incorporate my ideas I'm sure that this will be amazing!

So I love this idea and I have some of my own that I think would make this Brilliant!

- The new continent should be located to the north.***
- The new continent should have "New banks" that have NONE of the old things in your current bank, aside from what you bring with you. Basically you'll have 2 different banks. (not sure if that's possible but it would be sick)

- Here is WHY I say put in 2 bank: When wanting to go to the new continent you have 2 options.

1. You pay a hefty fee to a Captain (Something 20k for the voyage and a 10k tax per item) in safe area and he will make the voyage with you.

2. You speak to a pirate who tells you of a ship taking illegal goods through the wilderness and would be willing to smuggle you for a small fee, something much less (Like a flat rate of 15-25k) and so you meet the pirates at one of 4 or 5 northern/north-eastern locations in the wilderness. (different each time you seek a cheap voyage)

(Coming Back should involve similar circumstances. Like having to pay for a safe voyage or pay 20k to be dropped of at one of the wilderness locations.)

What affects I think this will have on the game:

1. first something that may not be all that obvious. I think this would create an awesome sort of "Proxy Economy" on the new continent, as bringing in your valuables will either cost you a lot or else you must risk losing items in the wilderness meaning many goods on the new continent may have a higher prices, while some goods easily found on the new continent may have a higher price on the old continent. This in turn would provide incentive for risky investors to purchase cheap items on one continent, run them through the wilderness and sell them on the other continent.*

2** ***** PK People running with anything from 20k** to who knows how many GP in valuable items through the wilderness will be another fun target for pkers!

LOVE YOUR IDEA !

Had a busy weekend and didn't found time to elaborate my ideas (explain and demonstrate how the game itself already supports such ideas) so here's a condensed and short version of them (feel free to ask me to elaborate)!

A) bridge and stand alone
I expect the new continent to be a new land of opportunities, where some content gets exclusive (such as different spellbooks) but also add content that could be used on the current continent (new trees would make new construction material for example)

B) content for all levels
To share the experiance is always the best part with videogames! Block paths with quest requirements? [and how about quests don't have requirements, but suggested levels? Make it so other players can help us do high skill stuff, and even combat! (Not on all quests, achieving quest cape should still be a challenge (and. New quest cape / different)] In other words, make it so that if you have contacts, you can do more.

3) gtg work more coming!

My suggestion?

Idea 1
-At least include new monsters where pures can train (similar to rock crabs but perhaps slightly more HP)- the catch is in order to access this area a player has to complete alot of quests (where the rewards are none combat related or requirements for each quests are not combat related). Idea is to make pures train on other things like herblore/ smithing etc inorder to meet the requirements for the quests- complete them all for decent pure training (thats not crowded).

Why?
Because there arent alot of monsters pures can train on and i know alot of players train pures for pking.

Idea 2
-Thinking outside the box here:
New temple that contains monsters all all kind (low lvl/ medium/ high). Its a special temple where xp is doubled!!! To access the temple: you have to collect 20 tickets that are medium drops from monsters outside the temple (on the new island or new area). On average- if your lucky it can take you 1-2 hours to collect enough tickets to enter and once inside you only have 1 hour before you find yourself back outside the temple again collecting another 20 tickets.
-A timer can be seen in the temple to show how long you have before you are forced to leave and if u log out- timer will pause and resume again once u log back in.

Currently there are 1 def armors that boost up your range like d hide legs and robin hood set and your mage like mage robes ghostly ect.. but there is nothing that helps your attack or your strength. My idea is that we add ether another jad maybe, his brother zad. or some other monster that drops some armor with no defence req but some strength and attack. I propose it being lava armor, but it could be anything. Us 1 def pures really would love this, even if it cost alot or is a big challenge. thanks i would love this to be considered.
