3) merchanting and skilling focus on a wild continent
Runescape is all about having skills. With the new continent, I see the opportunity for a land with absolutely no items from the outside (but that could be exported [reason to be made] like entrana but more strict) AND no banks!!! This way, every thing on the continent would be player made (no shops on new continent), where cities would pay players for supplies (food, weapons, armors, runes, wood, stone, etc)...
The new continent should be above the wilderness and the lunar sea, making it in a dangerous spot.
Like clue scrolls, human ennemies could spawn on those gathering resources so skillers would need escorts (and extra hands) to bring back valuable items to villages / cities
4) must do: dragon area or theme / islands
Dragons are part of runescape. They should be included!
My opinion is to put dragons as more fearsome and magical as they are now. Elvarg is supposed to be able to burn down cities...
Also, the reason of the existence of mettallic dragons should be explored. Are they dragons that covered themselves with melting metal? Was the metal enchanted, protecting them from some magic? [just as each gems have different proprieties (ruby and stuff)] it could give back value to those items (bronze and up) if enchanted
