the part about towns being terrorized i'd like to see some more open to the public bosses and mobs not just out in the wilderness way off somewhere random but somewhere public where maybe a boss patrols a big area and terrorizes a local town or even just patrols in the public or somewhere even in the wilderness but preferably in public a public boss would be cool and mobs to go along with it like gaurds and for it to be fairly easy for people to get to it but extremely hard to kill since its public and maybe in its patrol it passes through some area where u can fight other players like wilderness multi attack zone single attack zone etc and other mobs too and maybe kinda like the corp beast or something unheard of before like a swamp boss or something patrolling some routes through a swamp and newer areas like a wasteland with bosses/mobs maybe patrolling big area and wildy zone in wasteland for fighting other players in

wasteland a new wilderness zone where death and decay are around trash has been dumped here numerously theives, scandrals etc and some are very high lvl run rampant through here and some patrol areas possibly bosses patrolling areas maybe even protecting treasure and some very run down towns which are slums have tried to survive in this land and they provide poor services but still banking and there is a chance of looting random trash in this land for chances at anywhere from terrible loot to some high dollar stuff mixed in with trash and in this land could run into traps set by npcs to deal alot of dmg low dmg etc and possible poison you and sometimes u can be ambushed by npcs and/or bosses. some areas so badly polluted take damage over time where there are alot of trash deposits that could yield alot of looting places from trash and rivers of pollution yielding new fishing and many other things could be here i think this would be good for a new wilderness zone

somewhere to go and watch people and/or be in it with a group or by urself giveing the chance for others to join in or nooneelse allowed wave after wave to bosses in events maybe even the colliseum to watch this and wager bets and even wager bets on duel arenas of who will win or not.

I'm thinking of a few suggestions for the new continent:
-An abundance of new slayer monsters ranging from low to high levels to get the feeling of not having all these repetitive tasks.
-New towns/villages and teleports associated with them to make them more inhabitable (obviously quest requirements for the teleports to become familiar)
-New resources associated with skills wether it be new ore or armour to compensate for levels such as 15/25/35/45/55 defence or new trees or fish
-New bosses maybe?
-New rooftop agility courses! LOVE THEM!
-New hunter training alternatives and resources
-New minigames (something similar to Fists of Guthix but rework it and make it more awesome)

If I think of any more suggestions I will let you know, if you incorporate any of this feedback I will be one happy customer :D

I want to start by saying I think this is the most epic idea, I'm in full support of you as a dev team and you are doing a stella job with everything.


Would this mean a whole host of new teleports in existing spell books? additional fairy rings/glider locations etc.? The area would need to pretty easily accessible otherwise I can see it dying out pretty fast, and needs a lot new content to keep it going too, as well as more efficient training spots for existing skills.


Just a thought but a main dock area could be added with a loosely styled GE equivalent. The docks could add to the main trading hub feel as that is how the goods would of been transported, rather than just appearing.


I like the comment that you made about catering for the smaller communities, Dan. In my opinion we should be embrassing skill pures, low def pures and all the other different types of players RS has. It has always felt on EOC RS that anyone other than all around players were persecuted against, but really, the different types of players make the game what it is.


My only reservation about this idea is the worlds already feel scarce of players as it is and adding a lot more world to explore will just make it feel even emptier, is there a way of increasing the cap on world limits to 3000 and removing worlds? We need the balance of playability and community on the worlds, and I feel the community presence side is already lacking.


Loving reading everyone else's ideas, keep it up guys :)

I think there should be a third wizard tower in the east, where new magic spells are introduced through a high-level quest. It could be situated in a swamp that you need a high agility level to traverse. It should be known as Eastern wizard tower, and the spellbook could be named Eastern Magicks.

What I would think would be REALLY, SUPER, AWESOMELY Oldschool, would be to add Kudos Island as a part of this new continent. People have wanted Kudos Island since Varrock museum opened, and I think it's a really good time to introduce it. Unless you have some other plans for it?

Personally, I don't think I understand the purpose of this new land, but if the people are for it, so be it.

On the other hand, this could be the perfect place for another idea I had for a quest, given by the warrior's guild to those who had acquired the rune defender. The quest would take them to the "eastern lands" where the cyclopes come from. I have no hard and fast ideas about the details of the quest, so that can be rewritten to fit the content of the new land. Perhaps the Warrior's Guild is working with the Gnomes to deal with a threat that's been terrorizing Port Roberts.

Upon completion of the quest, players would gain access to a new boss, the colossal cyclops. This would be no easy solo boss, and would require strategy. Among the Cyclops drops would be the coveted Dragon Defender, which would be tradable, but only wieldable by those who have completed the quest. This would be a good way to introduce the Dragon Defender to the game, making it a difficult item to acquire, like the Dragon Fire Shield with which it competes.

P.S. Dragon Fire Shield needs it's special attack boosted to a max hit closer to 40-50 range. At 25, anyone who can wield one hits harder with their whip or even dscim, making the special worthless.
