Something needs to be done about the Woodcutting bots...Most every world at the magic trees in Seers Village and at the Scorpion Tower just South, the bots are out of control...right now there are like 20 of them here. :@

I have a question and it might be suggestion aswel:

In some other games I play, there is also a report option. However, these reports are sometimes successfully submitted or are ignored. When they are successfully submitted, I get a mail or message that they have taken actions against them. Will this function ever be implemented to the current, or coming up, botwatch system?

It would be nice to see that a certain bot gets banned when you have reported them. This would also give the player an idea that the report is not for nothing.

What is the view for this idea from Jagex?

As they commented in another thread, they get thousands of appeals from people, and find the ones that are mistakenly banned is like searching for a needle in a haysack. I suppose they will find your account to be one of those, but this can take time.

I am very excited to hear that the botwatch on old school has started! I can't wait until I don't have to worry about bots outclicking me. Check out the law runes running bots also, because they really interfere with trying to run runes.

I generally avoid the skills where the bots can out click me because it is so frustrating. I love old school and it would be sad to see the bots take over this game.

I totally agree with the other writers, that it is really necessary to go after those hiscores that botted their way up there. Also, the rune essence bots seem to have been reduced a little, but not enough.

as i mine in the grand tree area i see 1 or two bots per world. all look the very same.
and all have a cc at end of name. i have reported them every night i get on and try to mine.
they all mine gold and addy. and have a glitch that they walk to 1 side of addy rocks. then to the other side to mine it.
then mine coal.

Figured since this Botwatch doesn't seem to be watching very much at the moment (if at all), I may as well help by listing a ''few'' goldfarming bots to ban. 100% confirmed flax spinning bots, you can look them up on the high scores yourselves if you want.

135/500 names in the top 500 for Crafting on our high scores... are all goldfarmers.

I'm on day 12 of my ban false ban now on my alternate character. Appeal still pending, when a Jag Mod comes into these posts and say they are 99% accurate on their bans. I'm confused to how they got that number if hundreds of people haven't even been dealt with. I have had a lot of bad customer support in various games but this is by far one of the worst situations I've seen any company put players through. Regardless people were bots or not they should still be looked at (not two weeks or so later). If they were in fact botting and lying, deny their appeal. If they were not, unban them and reimburse their game time. In no situation should anyone have to wait so long for a response.

Botters are like cockroaches, no matter what you do they will always come back unless you kill the primary carrier (female). The primary source that botters use are botting website where they buy/download program and scripts. If I were

,I would highly suggest sitting down with a couple of high-prestige lawyers and suing the people who are destroying your game.
