Check out yaks, I have 8 names from the past month who I confirmed were botting. I checked the names on his highscores just after reading this to find none have yet been banned :) yes I reported them multiple times, please explain jagex.

come to world 330 ardy marketplace. mararealise, molegrain, errftgh**ou are botting theiving, has even been on over 24 hrs straight... unless they really love theiving but i ran into someone also non bot who said he seen them 3 days ago same place same thing....

I have a question.

Why has Jagex not made the option for players to not allow PMs from F2P or from accounts below a certain total level, since this would stop a majority of spambots and throwaway accounts from PMing anyone?

This would be an optional chat filter setting.

Anyone who wants the messages could allow them, and if you are on each other's friends lists you could PM each other also.

People like me who trade using the forums need to allow players not on our friends lists to PM so we can arrange trades, but surely we do not need messages from brand new accounts who are F2P and have not trained a single skill and don't even have access to OSRS. Hi.

hello i would love to do a little bot watching for you cuz reporting this person evry day for the past 2 months dont seem to work my friend stole $20 off me irl and a account he can have the dumb account but he bots his account every day at fight caves the account name is legit 1337 i told him he would be ban soon for botting cuz im mad and want to see something happen to him so legit 1337 is a huge botter@!@!@! pls look in to legit 1337 i have wrote jagex in all the slots even if its the wrong place he is still not ban with like 80 str rofl still botting every night ban legit 1337

It's cool that you guys are finally doing this, and I see that you said you've unbanned players that were falsely banned, but my other account is still banned for at least 18 more days. I was set to get 99 hunter in a few days, and then got banned for botting, when I've never botted a day in my life.

I've submitted an appeal, but nothing. Are you guys still looking into false bannings? Or are you just not looking into them anymore? I'd love to be able to play again.

Can we get BotWatch put into the original runescape, classic? Its a special game that shouldn't be neglected :( I had a lot of fun playing but stopped after seeing how many bots there were at the mining guild and being bad mouthed by a botter.

Attend bot busts - These aren't a just lip service

It's good to see Jagex making progress toward better anti bot software but there's really no need to lie so blatantly, bot busts have always been about lip service as the impact they have is so trivially small it's irrelevant.

They're only done to make players think that 1 jmod banning 20 or so bots means Jagex are making amazing progress even when Jagex silently bans tens of thousands of bots behind the scenes. ~ Alexandros Megalos ~ Alexander III of House Argead ~ Alexander the Great ! ~
