what about buying them for an extremely large sum of money, such as 100m? you could buy them from the wise old man in draynor.

that way no one would be able to make profit off them or be disadvantaged by features in the game, they would be a sign of achievement alongside a statement of wealth.

Bots should be prioritized before any polls/results imho.

Banning a couple "hundred" goldfarming bots didn't even make a dent. Get serious about botting please.

The community is losing faith in the abilities or willingness of Jag to address this issue, to the point of your own forum mods flaming threads with statements like:

"I've long since learned\realize Jagex *can't* "deal" with the bots any better in 2013 then they could in 2007... ... Its just not going to happen."

Please prove this moderator wrong, and do something about this issue.

I would like to see untradable rares as a gold sink.. some of us just want to play and look cool at the sacrifice of some stats. I know I'd throw 1m down the sink for a shark mask.

Dreg.. that is exactly it, even the people who represent Jagex are losing faith in the company. I know that Jagex can handle the bot situation, the question is, are they willing to shell out enough money to keep them down for good? Sure, Jagex is a company and they need to make money.. but honestly, Andrew Gower must be losing sleep for what his creation has become. When one acquires a net worth of over 200M by developing Rs, what stops them from spending some of that on maintaining the integrity of the game?

When Jagex said they were going to allow us a small development team I never expected to have this much support and notification on upcoming polls, updates and fixes. I especially didn't think there would be a poll so soon, I would have expected it to arrive 4 or more weeks in and only a hand full of times a year...

It's epic to see that we have a group of committed mods and that RS07 is taken seriously. I couldn't imagine what the large team would have been like, seen as the small team seem to be doing so well. Quality not quantity as they say?

You're doing an epic job. To get the servers up and running, the site, bug fixes, updates and even getting the first poll up and running so soon. If you guys keep it up we'll have a really good community on 07.

I personally can't wait to see what else is planned, we've got a clean sheet to start from and I hope it progresses well. *Cough!* remove mithril seeds. :P

Thanks for keeping us informed too, there's nothing the players like to see more than mods being around on forums answering our questions. So thank you! And keep it up. :)

First of all, kudos to the small development team. The weekly devblogs to keep us informed of whats happening, the comments showing our forum postings are being read, and the response to questions is much more than I expected. It is good to see the team is serious about the 2007 game and the player community.

I agree that the first poll was unexpected and that people have possibly misinterpreted some of the questions. If possible, it would be good if polls could be announced in advance on the forums with more in-depth details on specific questions. That way any misinterpretation of questions could be cleared up before voting. Also players could discuss the pros and cons of updates before voting to get a better understanding of the updates and the effect they would have on the game and/or community.
