Like what Philphish said about the hotkeys - are there any plans to change them? Even for someone like myself with big hands the hotkeys are very far apart and it's quite irksome to use. I'd like them re-mapped to the way they are in EoC (They were this way prior to EoC, too), I.e., F1 being inventory, F2 being worn equipment, F3 being prayer, F4 being mage book, F5 being special attack/attack styles. At the moment, esc is inventory, F1 is special attack/attack styles, F4 is worn equipment, F5 is prayer, and F6 is mage book. It's really spread out and clunky. Does Jagex have any plans to change this or put this to poll?
Also, I had a query about the whole poll thing. There's one more thing from EoC that I would like to see in 2007 - the ability to right-click barricades to use a tinderbox on them (along with some kind of toolbelt function so that people no longer fight over the two tinder spawns in the game). But my fear is that if this were put to vote, along with other small things that not every player cares about, it would be neglected and people who don't play castle wars wouldn't know whether to vote yes or no and might vote against it without being fully-informed.
On EoC, I was a dedicated cw player. I've played well over 6k cw games, and to be honest with you that cw thread that was made was a joke. I don't mean to be rude, but 4/5ths of the people in that thread were morons with max total complaining about the 5k req. Half of the remaining were people with like 500 games who don't know anything about the subtleties of castle wars. I'd love to talk specifics about it if you'd like, but I feel like I'm getting away from my main point.
Main point: Right-click tinderbox for Castle Wars, and rearrangement of the hotkeys. Plausible?
