I disagree with the nerfs you have on the blowpipe, I primary use melee but melee isn't an option with some slayer creatures and bosses. Your changes would hurt pvm, slayers, iron men and women the most. If your issue is with pvp than change the stats on pvp worlds only. Changing it would not make the crystal weapons and armor any more popular. The ability to choose your own armor and weapons setups is what makes osrs unique and fun. Trying to make us buy unwanted items would ruin and cheapen our experiences. (As a customer service rep irl) It will hurt the game more than it will help, you cannot force your customers to buy a useless product and expect to keep your current customers....let alone attract new players. I would take a moment to study what items are popular and add new weapons to both f2p and members based off what is clearly preferred by your customers. You should focus on adding to f2p with new content like a ( mock bossing cave) to help low, mid tier players learn to boss . Please reconsider your changes.....it will hurt the community.

Rather than balancing the game, this change will do the opposite. This change drastically increases the gap between mid-tier ranged items and the Twisted Bow.

By dramatically altering classic items like black d'hide that have been around since the early days of the game, this change would irreparably harm the integrity of OSRS as an "old school" version of the game, and this is exactly the kind of development that we came to OSRS to avoid .

This change would be disproportionately detrimental to ironmen, who rely on black d'hide on their way to getting rarer gear.

Please do not make this change the way that it's currently written. The level requirement increases on higher level gear are reasonable, but an unpolled change to black d'hide is not. Making classic items much less useful in favor of newer items that were not part of the true "old school" version of this game completely defeats the purpose of OSRS .

I think what matters significantly more than the nerfs in this situation is the issue that you all, as a team I imagine, decided against polling this update. Surely you understand the fears players have, nearly a decade after EOC ruined a game we all loved, the game that was created as a solution to that problem starts following in the same footsteps? Regardless of the nerfs, and the legitimate impacts they'll have to places like the Fight Caves and The Inferno (or the baffling choice to lower the strength bonus of the faceguard, making it no longer a BIS item), I think the worst outcomes will be in relation to the fact that the update won't be polled. In the past, integrity changes have been small, this feels like a misuse of the term "integrity change" as a way to slip the update through unpolled, although I will admit I've noticed the irony of Jagex disregarding their 8 year process of player input and calling it an "integrity change". There's definitely been an integrity change, but with the dev team, not the game. In a time where the relationship between developers and players is struggling as a whole in this industry, with projects like Cyberpunk 2077, and Epic Games aka Tencent throwing around platform exclusivity deals like they're hot cakes, I'm shocked to see this amazing and talented team take a misstep like this. In any case, I hope we have a definite answer soon, talk of an unpolled update has killed my motiviation to play, as I don't want to waste time grinding skills in a game I may never play again.

Pulling things together and hearing interviews with moderators,
it's clear that they are thrown all around, fixing this and that in every corner.
My suggestion is to keep the path close to yearly plan and do it step by step.
Your capacity of employees allows to plan bunch of stuff, but you have practisied to show off what every one is doing within little intervals. We know you work...
This mashup of incoming updates is brain breaking xp gains. [New skills suggested, xo]
Make working group involving top pkers-pvms-skillers and find solutions.
This is cringe, watching how gold strings are pulled, when some one with 100k+ followers, post an problem in youtube.
If you leave place to reply, like this box. Then check it. Not everything is a hatespeech, but be more critical to your decisions.
Supporting pure skilling.

Look, I could probably learn to live with most of the changes...

...What I can't live with is changes this big not being polled. A twitter survey? Really?

I suggest you launch the original survey as an in-game poll so your actual players can be surveyed.

This. I don't have Twitter. And we shouldn't have to have Twitter to be represented
