I think what matters significantly more than the nerfs in this situation is the issue that you all, as a team I imagine, decided against polling this update. Surely you understand the fears players have, nearly a decade after EOC ruined a game we all loved, the game that was created as a solution to that problem starts following in the same footsteps? Regardless of the nerfs, and the legitimate impacts they'll have to places like the Fight Caves and The Inferno (or the baffling choice to lower the strength bonus of the faceguard, making it no longer a BIS item), I think the worst outcomes will be in relation to the fact that the update won't be polled. In the past, integrity changes have been small, this feels like a misuse of the term "integrity change" as a way to slip the update through unpolled, although I will admit I've noticed the irony of Jagex disregarding their 8 year process of player input and calling it an "integrity change". There's definitely been an integrity change, but with the dev team, not the game. In a time where the relationship between developers and players is struggling as a whole in this industry, with projects like Cyberpunk 2077, and Epic Games aka Tencent throwing around platform exclusivity deals like they're hot cakes, I'm shocked to see this amazing and talented team take a misstep like this. In any case, I hope we have a definite answer soon, talk of an unpolled update has killed my motiviation to play, as I don't want to waste time grinding skills in a game I may never play again.
