I quit playing RuneScape a decade ago due to unpolled changes to combat (EOC), it feels like history is trying to repeat itself. These things need to be polled. Continue listening to your players please. It's what sets this game apart from so many others.

The only issue I have is the blowpipe nerf is too extreme given it has been in the game for six years and so much content has been made with it in mind. Inferno is already difficult, and with most average players not having access to a twisted bow makes it seem not even worth trying. As someone who has just started osrs a few months ago, all the content made with the blowpipe in mind with this kind of blowpipe nerf is already making me feel a bit frustrated.

Take these kinds of changes a lot slower, maybe start with a polled 5% damage and accuracy nerf. The dhide magic defense nerf also seems unnecessary, but everything else seems reasonable. Please poll all of the changes, even if it's just an opinion poll to see where the player base sits.

Well it was fun while it lasted but I made my range tank based off of the gear in game 600+ cox completed, 20 pets, 2 tob ect... with these changes I wont be able to pvm and BH is removed I'm kind of being kicked out of the game. Please keep pking accounts in mind. Thanks you a123456

Instead of nerfing the blowpipe can you look into putting a level requirements on the ammunition. This should be a thing for the tbow as well. E.g.
Dragon dart/arrows 99
Rune darts/arrows 90
Addy darts/arrows 85
Mith darts/arrows 80
Steel darts/arrows 78
Bronze/iron 75

To rebalance bosses such as bandos just make their ranged defence higher. Nerfing the blowpipe itself will have way to much impact on chambers and Tob. Especially solo raids, challenge mode is already pointless without a Twisted bow.

Toxic Blowpipe - I agree that the blowpipe needs a nerf, but I think the proposed nerf is too excessive. I think a +40 ranged attack and +30 ranged strength compared to the proposed +30 ranged attack and +25 ranged strength is more suitable and less drastic. Only the Addy darts need a minor change compared to your proposal. I think the new accuracy should be +8,not +7 and the new strength should be +9, not +8.

Dragonhide Armor - I think defense bonus nerf is too much. I think the the stab, slash, crush & magic should be nerfed less than proposed, otherwise i think its okay.

Dinh's Bulwark - I don't think the Bulwark needs the reduced melee defense bonuses at all. It was already nerfed. The magic defense nerf should be less. I suggest a -10 Magic Defense.

Metal Armor - I don't think the changes are needed, but if you must I think the proposed negative range bonus should be less drastic.

All the other proposals are good. A torag warhammer rebalance should follow.

Not to be dramatic, but these are such drastic unpolled changes that this is akin to bait and switch. Will there be offers of refunds for those of us who paid for a year of membership, assuming the game will continue to be the same game? I know that sounds dramatic, but I rejoined old school after quitting years ago due to "integrity" updates like these to force variety of equipment choices in RS3. I specifically rejoined the game, and paid for a year of membership, because of the straightforward meta/BIS understandings. If the goal is to have variety and a bank full of different needs/equipments, then I would not have paid for membership. Please poll this, or at least consider a refund option for those of us who aren't interested in a RS3/WOW wannabe.

Another classic issue Jagex has a long history of failing to address is the economical impact of these changes. Jagex has always had comical or infuriating (depending on your outlook) utter incompetency when it comes to understanding the economy of the game. While this may not be of immediate concern involving these specific changes, it creates an artificial economic dynamic within the game.

Should I hold onto this item or sell it? Who knows?! It may be nerfed or buffed next week with no poll, hell, maybe even no warning!!!

That, on top of the balance issues with this "balance" update, is super unhealthy for the game and will only deter players further.
