To continue from above, from the "major" critique, now a few minor ones, as proposed.
The d'hide update: Yes, d'hides as they stand for the price, are insane for a lot of content. I personally don't mind using them in a lot of mid and early late game content. But the proposal you put forward leaves a gap, in which you say "All" d'hide needs this specific nerf, where I disagree partially. You actually have two separate tiers of d'hide potentially. Regular vs Blessed.
Blessed is not nearly as easy to attain. (not that it is overly difficult, but you cant just craft it). You could make this a separate tier of D'hide, that you do not nerf nearly as drastic, if at all. Instead, you could say you need a slightly higher defense to wear it, or however you wish to enact the use. This would first make Blessed D'hide armor worth something again, other than collecting in poh chests as trophies.
Next up is the faceguard. The neitz helm has always been a decent helm, especially for wildy work, with decent stats, and a lower price tag given the shop you can purchase from if you don't want the instant gratification from the ge. The faceguard itself is actually a decently balanced item, though a higher level could easily work. If any melee gear needs to be nerfed, it might be the inquisitors (but I actually like that it is stronger given what you need go through to attain it) though I haven't looked at numbers to see a logical suggestion here as to what you could nerf it to reasonably if a change were to be made.
There are other nit-picky things, but honestly, yall are doing what you can, while trying to figure it all out.
