I was ok with making clue step only in our region. however it does create problems.
Shouldve been this way since the beginning now it is too late for sure.

However, this change Is a GREAT middle ground for everyone I believe.

Will make treasure seeker, better.
and clue scroll viable for unnatural selection.

Personnally, Im behind that update 100%

Thats what I love so much about this game. listening to the community. thats why a 20YO+ game is thriving more than ever!

This new update is a great middle ground fix for clues, especially in the middle of leagues. Right now clues seem almost useless, and this is a unique way to fix that, especially in the middle leagues. I'd love to try it out!

I understand some people may feel like the change is too late in the league, however I disagree. League is still very early on and there is a Relic and multiple tasks associated with clue scrolls. If this wasn't the case I would argue to keep them the same. If the tasks associated to the league were complete one of each and that was it, but the tasks are more in depth with clues and those tasks currently even if you took the Relic are basically unobtainable even with Juggling or at the very least way too time consuming to focus on.

This doesn't benefit anyone in particular and helps everyone out and to those who got lucky to complete some or took the time to juggle got an advantage early on by completing the clue scrolls anyways.

Make the change!

To everyone thinking option 2 helps treasure seekers, don't. I believe that most people who saw the need to pick the treasure relic saw the need to juggle. With juggling before option 2, you completed every step in your areas and lost every step not in your areas. After option 2, you complete every step in your areas and lose every step not in your areas. This option only removes the need to juggle, which is what the treasure seeker relic excelled at helping. With option 2 added, both treasure seeker and unnatural selection people will complete roughly the same rate of clues unless unnatural selection people repeatedly have max steps, and there will be no meaningful improvement to the rate of clues generated by a treasure seeker compared to a slayer whose goal is to farm clues.

I’m sorry but anyone really angling this update clearly picked US. This update just shows a clear lack of understanding from the comments on the previous thread. The fact of the matter is any clue buff disproportionately buffs US so if the mod team are so desperate to change how clues work there needs to be a change in the relics.

The excuse that buffing clues makes the game more fun for everyone and should be passed is ultimately a poor assessment of the real issue here. It doesn’t take into consideration why people even picked TH in the first place. Players have forgone a pleasurable slayer experience because they will have more fun with clues with TH in the games current state. By making any change to clues and nothing else you’re not really affording them anymore fun. The small amount of benefit you’re giving them just makes their assessment of whether to take US or TH redundant because with any change to clues and nothing else the choice of relic literally is a no brainer.

I don’t think any change should be made to clues at all and we should learn for next league. If you do make a change to clues there needs to be further assessment of the relics. You should really justify why you refuse to just give both relics. Sure, US has given people 3 weeks of benefits, but I don’t think anyone would argue against it, you’re unlocking a lot of points for both players. This just seems like more of a ‘hurrr we didn’t change the relics tho!!!’, but no you’re just changing core features of how they work, and at best disproportionately for both players.

I am for this update. I actually feel like choosing treasure seeker was a waste compared to those that chose unnatural selection. I still have to drop most clues and I complete them at nearly the same rate as those without the perk. Testing on another account just to have first hand experience as well.

Either way you look at it, what pick you made is already done. Doesn't matter who benefits more or not. US already is established as 100% better than the latter. The fact that this allows people to do clues rather than dropping 90% of found clues is enough to say okay, we need to fix this issue. It will hardly affect the game as a whole and most people don't have to be annoyed then by how awful the clue system is in this League.

Why people are against this are crazy, it's not like this is going to break the league and allow players to magically take top spots on the leader boards. Everyone will be able to complete these clue tasks. It's a quality of life improvement for all players regardless what you have picked.
