They would rather implement dead content into the game , opposed to bringing bh back to it's prime and giving target killing a real reason and bringing life back to the wilderness . They don't want to put the work in to find money sinks and have the economy take a bump for the sake of pvp and the fun of the wilderness we all crave and are waiting to come back to decide if we really want to hang around .

I get so tired of this argument. Look..it does not make a damn bit of difference how good someone is at pking. If hardly anybody risks, they simply can not make profit.

The point of pking is about having a potentially profitable way to have fun. It has always been like this. (until the community turned to trash) Why the hell do you think there are a few who risks more, such as dhers? If they got no added reward from doing so, they would not have the higher risk. It really is that simple.

If you disagree, then why don't you go skull in dh and offer to fight people in rune with climbing boots and str ammies? Afterall, you're the one who's telling us it's not about money. So why not back up your statement?

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

Would Jagex care to debate with me HOW adding the EP system will devalue our economy?


Currently, our economy is in a rust. The best items in-game are worth close to nothing. For example, a whip is valued at 1.1m-1.2m. The almighty armadyl godsword is at an ever low peak of 50-55m. Bandos and zamorak godswords are about 3-5m.

Do you really think that these prices give PvMers an incentive to kill them? The current cost of super restores is 17kea a pop. And brews are an outstanding 10kea. Not taking into account the prices for super sets, bolts, bones to peaches and much more, it roughly takes 400k an inventory to do one DUO armadyl trip.

The fact that I have 99 range + an extra 2m exp over 99(that I got doing armadyl GWD) and STILL have not received an armadyl hilt is completly absurd. Do you know how much money I have spent on supplies? The cost of supplies IS FAR TO HIGH for the prices of ARMOUR. Even if i received a hilt drop, I would basically break even for the cost of supplies I have used. Now what would be the point of that...?

Now say you added in EP system.
People would stop doing as much PvM which would shorten the supply, and increase the value of armours. NOW, people who enjoy PVM will be getting splits THEY DESERVE (for example armadyl godsword might rise to 130m) because there are more pkers WANTING these items and LESS PVMERS supplying it to them.

The cost of supplies, such as sharks, brews, restores value will be maintained or even increase due to the insane amount of demand needed from pkers. Which means now the skillers are even making more money.

EP SYSTEM BENEFITS not only PvPers , but also skillers+PVMers....... YOU MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY!!!!!!! What are you not understanding? Not to mention you'll increase the amount of people online at any given time from 15-20k to probably 35-40k with a massive amount of people coming back for this update.

Jagex Moderators have once again shown to us that they do not play Runescape at all... they are just glad they have a job!

#1- This is not the Runescape that people have been playing for 13 years and it's still going strong today, this is Old School, treat it as such! This is nothing more than an addition to the game where people that are playing or at least the vast majority play for the PVP PVP PVP PVP PVP PVP yes I said that a lot!!! They are playing for the Player VERSUS Player aspect of Runescape!!!!!! Treat it as such Mod Ronan!!!!!!

#2- In what way will adding extra loot such as resources in noted amounts, PVP armours, Pvp supplies, food , pots, GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD in what way does this affect the economy of a game that was never meant to last for almost 2 years as OLD SCHOOL has...???? In what way, you guys literally want people to just stay in game as much as possible and this will eventually bring the game to an end, this is what the other Runescape is for....

#3- You morons decided to split the community, why the **** should the majority of your ******* community the ******* Pkers, not the skillers, not the Pvmers, THE PLAYER KILLERS!!!! WHY SHOULD WE NOT GET EXTRA LOOT??? PLEASE GIVE A DETAILED EXPLANATION???

The problem with PKing is pures. Pures simply don't bring valuable items into the wild (maybe 1, but that gets protected). They don't even have the defense to bring in very valuable items, outside of weapons.

Make untradable items disappear when a person dies and you're on your way to something better. Then force those who want to PK enter the wild with so much cash in items (I would even say the most expensive shouldn't count out of high risk worlds). PKers would get to make money, because there would be only people with X amount of wealth in the wild. Those in the wild for other business could benefit too.

Of course, there would have to be another danger for those people (return of the revs?), but at least PKers could get what they want, a chance to profit.

EP requires a minimum risk, also pures are a part of pking, not a problem.

Wing, you stated what the issue is: the cost of supplies.

I understand why food supply drops would do more harm then good, but potions? As far as I know, nobody makes potions for money. (correct me if I'm wrong) They are very heavily merched by bots (I assume they're bots considering they're the same people always standing in the same spot all the time) though.

As such, would it not be beneficial for target kills to have a chance at dropping a small amount of noted potions? This would help both pvmers (cheaper potion costs due to increased supply) and pkers (less potions having to be brought).
