Anyways, Jagex make some of the most idiotic updates an havd not listened to their players at the most important of times which lead to less and less players in the game.

Pkers make RS what it is while the skiller cry on forums.

You need to look at the bigger picture here Jagex: Do you honestly think the Bounty Target mechanic will help draw in more PKers into the wilderness? C'mon, don't lie to yourself Jagex. I doubt the poll will even pass.

I mean, as it appears to me, your bottom line goal with the BH target system is another attempt to revive the wilderness to its original glory by drawing in more PKers, correct me if I'm wrong.

Having said that, if that is actually your goal, then you should quit with your ignorant pretense of the truth and implement the followings to draw in more PKers/Players into the game, and at the end of the day, to the wilderness itself aswell:

- Restore the entire backup of the old website.

- Introduce permanent F2P.

- Bring back the old username registration method.

- Possibly change the name of Oldschool Runescape to something more appealing.


In conclusion, there's no issue with the current Wilderness mechanics; It is perfect as it is, the only issue here is the lack of new generation of players coming into the game.

I'm only trying to help you realize the bigger picture in here Jagex, but unfortunately you won't listen.

Brawler gloves are something that had a very negative response from players in the past. The idea of giving large amounts of bonus experience is not something that many players are on board with.

PKing is an activity that many players enjoy because of the entertaining gameplay and challenge, providing extra incentives in order to make it easier to profit from PKing wasn't necessary back in 2007 and it shouldn't be necessary now.

For one, anyone who actually got brawlers while PKing weren't complaining about them, you need to stop listening to people who either haven't experienced or are negatively biased towards PKing because of what they have heard or because of a negative experience they have had while PKing.

The entertaining part of PKing is both killing someone else and getting what they have. These days what people have doesn't nearly cover what it costs to kill them. It may not have been necessary in 2007 because that was a completely different community than the one playing OSRS right now, we have experienced what it's like to kill someone and actually profit. You can't expect anyone that you have let experience that to settle for constant loss while PKing. Cosmetic items, while a good start, are not enough. If not brawlers, then untradeable PVP armor.

So pretty much this update is just a way to find your target without them knowing and a cosmetic suit that may or may not be appealing. I think you should at least add a brawling glove reward. It would bring people who train skills some intensive to try and get an item that will benefit them and want to pk more.

I don't think extra rewards for target kills or an EP system would devalue skilling or money making. As it currently stands, pking is not a viable way of making money- anything you get is lost by somebody else, and food/runes/coins <-(barrows repair) leave the world. Adding some small extra rewards from an EP system will not make pking overly profitable, especially if the total amount of EP that could be earned in one day was capped.

Even if jagex were still worried about moneymaking and resources being devalued, there are other rewards that could be included. Brawling gloves, for one, would not have any major impact on the economy. At a sufficient rarity, they wouldn't cheapen training, not that jagex cares about that. Heavily harvested (read: botted) resources entering the world this way wouldn't significantly impact the prices either.

Please stop trying to force this bounty hunter on us. We obviously voted against the ideas. This target system reminds us of that awful wilderness when we fought for monuments and no one pked. Fix the things that are wrong with RS before making more:

Get Rid of NMZ: it goes against everything old school for free afk xp.

Get Rid of PvP worlds: Let everyone pk in world 18 normal wildnerness like we used to. This decreases the amount of keep items pked with and actual pking will be done.

Stop trying to bring in new armors and weapons from the later game like dclaws and spirit shields. They have no place in old school runescape.

Those drops that the corp will drop, or that Arma, DKS, or any other boss drops are all a part of their drop table, meaning you should expect that from them. If you go out killing goblins, you shouldn't expect a visage, and if you kill someone who is only risking a dds and rune armor you should expect rune armor and a dds, not millions in loot.

Green dragon bots don't make millions off one dragon, they have to farm them to be profitable, maybe you should farm the rune armor and dragon daggers a little more for more profit, OR... step up your game and go after a real pker with real loots.

You complain about the cost of supplies, but bash the skiller community.. without the skillers, you wouldn't have supplies in the first place, maybe try iron man on for size when it comes out, then everything you make will be profit.

Quit being such an elitist. The people that actually want 2007 RS to stay 2007 RS forever are a minority. This game does need to move forward to a point before EoC when it was actually fun to play.
