Sounds like you're just mad you lost your cheapshot weapon. It'll be more rewarding for people who can actually PK. Git gud nubnub.

Entangle is a horrible idea for f2p.

It's going to kill the current f2p multi pking scene in w308 and the LPC f2p bracket. xLPC is currently no overheads, so having to tank for 15 seconds is going to be ridiculous. You're pretty much dead now if you get caught outside of your teammates with a bind and now it's 100% that you'll die if that happens...

Glad to see Jagex really caring about their core playerbase. I'm sure it will attract loads of new consistent f2p pkers right? just like teleblock did?

At this point we might as well add EoC as an integrity update.

You're going to kill a scene that draws anywhere between 300-600 people to F2P each weekend if you're going through with this update for Snare and Entangle, with a very slight chance of actually getting return investment other players to engage in f2p pking in the long term.

Please do not add snare and entangle, it will ruin f2p Multi pking.

So what the point of putting snars and entangle in f2p. F2p wild is dead you can littery walk from 1 wild to 50 wild in multi zone and not once see anybody. I mean what does the f2p wild have to offer very few if any only actully pkes over lvl 8 wild. F2p doesn't offer players much outside of wine of zammy. Which is a hit or miss with f2p pking & rune ore once you need 85 mining for and which are always available.. Add more content to f2p pking then just 2 spells , snaring someone at full health one step away from bank safe spot wont be to helpful when you ko is a rune 2h.. Like the 2011 f2p gwd revs monster better than greater demons, Risk with being n wild. And they sometimes took more than one person to beat depending on which one you fighting.. Just something else to go along with those spells would help f2p pking greatly. Tankordie

.gmaul nerf isnt needed. this is a terible idea. at most have the attachment do 50% and the normal gmaul use 100% spec. gmaul spec only gets kill about 1 in 20 specials and even less when youre not on a pure. its not even close to being worth 5m

Hey all,

First time posting on these forums in 16 years playing the game, but hey- I guess late is better than never.

I agree that looking at the G-maul is a good idea. It is a very powerful weapon and is currently not worth very much because of the large number of people killing gargoyles. I would be in favor of the proposed changes with a few modifications. As this weapon is used a lot, and is frankly a pretty cool weapon when used correctly, I think 10m BH points and $1m dropped on death is too high. Maybe the equivalent of a T1 emblem and $100k dropped. Some ratio that can't be abused to farm gp. This will be change, but a smaller change which can be monitored and tweaked. I think small changes are better when dealing with frequently used content.

The other bit I would like to comment on is the proposed magic defense changes. I believe that things should remain as they are with regards to magic defense resting 70% with magic level. Flavor-wise it works, but also this encourages people to train up their magic stat as a defensive mechanism, which I rather like. We have 4 DPS skills, it stands to reason that having 2 defensive skills as opposed to just 1. (yes magic would still impact the damage taken, but we would, with these changes, be moving in the direction of consolidating defense solely with the defense skill) This change would negatively impact 1-45 defence pures which are a large part of the pking community and which appears to be well balanced now.
