This blog was depressing to read from a PvP perspective....Beyond the initial post of the mini game "last man standing" there was basically nothing but same ole generic promises/statements regarding PvP.
The last paragraph basically said "hey we came up with, more leader-boards that we already have, but no no, these will reset every 24 hours" and "hey since we made rune pouches available from slayer, maybe we can give u some hat or cape cosmetics?"
Oh and lets not forget them saying "well we promised you stuff 2 years ago, and we didn't do any of it, so we will sorta START thinking about how to accomplish that goal now"
Pretty much nothing has been said about how to help PvP, besides saying "we want to make it better" but how they will try to get this done, who knows i guess.
Very bland and generic post, pretty disappointing tbh. I also dont understand why we need this "last man standing" mini game, instead of adding more mini games to split up the PvP base, focus on making the wilderness area(basically PvP arena in osrs) more required throughout the game, so that people would want to partake in PvP and not sit in a mini game all day.
Personally you guys are missing one key element, and thats "balancing PvP", you are too focused on content and not enough of balancing broken weapons/gear like the Gmaul spec, which combined with any weapon such as elder maul, ags, anchor, can hit insane combos at levels under 90 combat. The overall balance of the game has been poor, prayers dont even go up past 80 levels? All gear requires a 75 stat only? The balancing just does not make sense. On top of this, all the most expensive items are from raids which are flooding the market with insane amounts of gold. There should be weapons/armor that are very valuable that come from PvPing.
Overall pretty much nothing has come from this post as i believe it was simply meant to be a little bone thrown under the table
