Hello.

I main a 50 attack gmaul pure. I'm currently trying to max out, please don't nerf the gmaul. It will not only ruins the build but the maul has been 50% since release. Modifying the spec delay or increased cost will cause me to change my account. Not alot of gmaul pures stay 50 attack. If you do this update, there will be none.

I second this idea! Would make multi combat still multi in a sense. But not 10-100 on 1.

there should also be some to 40% worlds, have disabled protection overhead-prayer. But only on PVP places. (Not everyone is a tryhard edgy hybrid you know.)

Going to leave my two cents on here regarding the imp boxes being used in PVP-areas:


Since imp boxes already have their existing rules on when they can be used in PVP-settings (IE: below 30 wilderness and not teleblocked), I don't think they should be banned from PVP areas, given that they were intended to have SOME use in the wilderness/other areas. These restrictions make sense and I think are pretty well-balanced.

If a PKer doesn't bring TBs, that means whoever they're PKing can easily teleport away, preventing them from getting ANY loot. This is already standard practice in PVP, if you don't bring teleblocks, the person you're attacking is probably going to escape, unless you are PKing in deep wildy, in which case imp boxes can't be used anyways. If the player is able to use imp boxes, then they could also teleport away, which is why I don't see the point of disabling them in PVP.

Maybe in 1v1 standard fights this could pose an issue, but again, if players had enough time to teleport their items out to safety, then they could also just teleport away. Maybe there is another way people are abusing them to more negative effect, but I'm just not seeing it here. If there is, feel free to enlighten me.

HOWEVER, if this mechanic really is being abused negatively, then disable the use of imp boxes while you are in combat, but don't completely ban them from the wilderness. Right now, the main real use of getting imp boxes is to use them in the wilderness so that you can bank some valuable items that you might get while bossing/hunting chins, etc., and prolong your trip. If imp boxes get banned from the wilderness completely, they're just going to become dead hunter content. It isn't really useful to go out of your way to gather imp boxes in other settings, if we're being honest.

I dont see enough reasons to nerf the granite maul. With the amount of hp people sit at nowadays, it will be very hard to get kills without a gmaul, which means less kills overall and less fun for pkers. In addition to that the gmaul adds much more variety to the game. You can combine it with other weps (dds - gmaul, ags - gmaul, etc.), gmaul insta in different ticks, etc., which is not possible using only dds or only ags. Also, doing a 1 tick 100% gmaul spec is significantly harder than doing a 1 tick ags or dds spec (requires you to click twice in spec bar rather than once). This extra difficulty is good for the game because it rewards more skilled players who can do combos that involve a gmaul (these combos are usually more powerful than ones that dont).

I don't either. The g maul is only really effective against low defense and jagex should not be trying to balance the game around pures.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

I believe if you are TBed in the wilderness you should have the same ability to attack the TBer as when you have a target in BH worlds. The TB should also be lifted if the TBer logs out or hops worlds.
Alternatively, have the TB time reduced to 1/4 the original timer if the TBer doesn't maintain the combat (Ex. PJ, Logout, World hop)

F2p teleblock is a great update to the game, makes wilderness more action packed for f2ps.
There is nothing quite so useless, as doing with great efficiency, something that should not be done at all.
Osrs Player Pvm , skilling, raids ,questing is my passion.
