I don't really care about the results of the poll, But I think Jagex needs to realize two things now.
1. They are HOLIDAY items, not 'rares' They are 'rares' in EOC because of the fact that they were released a long time ago and not many people that recieved them, A) Held on to them, or B) Kept playing. This leads into the second thing.
2. These items were released as a fun HOLIDAY event, where people ran around picking them up and trading them around with no care in the world, just to get the pretty colours they wanted. They were sold to general stores, given away, whatever. Everyone just thought, "Hey this is a nice vanity item to mess around with and their everywhere"
You cannot release these HOLIDAY ITEMS, and have them be tradeable, and get the same effect as before, It's not going to be fun for ANYONE, It's not going to create instant wealth because everyone expects them to go back up to billions of gp worth. But if everyone knows this and everyone holds on to them, it's not going to happen.
And there is also a third thing I just thought of while typing this.
If they get released as tradeables, the people who are already extremely rich in EOC from one time things such as being first to a high level in a skill (Rune Hatchets, Abyssal whips, etc) Or even worse, transferred gp from EOC, are going to buy out a whole bunch of HOLIDAY ITEMS, and then the whole 'new start' on 07 where everyone is equal will be ruined, as those who already have billions of GP on EOC where the rich/poor separation is massive, will easily become extremely rich on 07.
There are too many issues, and no way to release them and be fair. Everyone thinks it'll be just like EOC and some instant wealth for those who get them etc. etc. but in reality it's not going to pan out like it did back in 01.
